  1. 4-2-3-1 possibly? I feel the manager might see our 3 forwards and switch between them during the season, either that or drop out Anderson/Meggs for one of them

    McGurn

    Thomson-Toshney-Benedictus-McKeown

    McCord-Rossco

    Anderson-Craigen-Megginson

    one from Stewart/Vaughn/Wighton

Wouldn't be too sure about Anderson, Ray told him he could look for a new club.

edit - whatever the formation, we're going for fast, nippy link-up play this season. Looking forward to it

  2. Mckinnon has a defender agreed, but cannot announce his signing untill tuesday AM as he is contracted at current club untill Monday 8th.

Makes me think its a player who had contract extended for play offs..

Also stating 2 more signings by end of the week the. Another 2 prior to the 22nd june, as ray wants all players in for first day of training.

He has then accepted he will be looking for 2 season long loans.

Davidson is away on two week trial to far east. Qatar area. Has 3 offers from scotland and further 4 from england.. No danger he be back at raith.

New hom Strip will be revealed by end of next week, and go on sale the following week..

Strip has surprised me but i understnad the clubs logic. A good move.!

Everything coming from the club just now is positive, signing part time players who can make step up to full time is great, megginson comes from aberdeen, (full time) mccord has been full time at dundee united as has petrie,

We have some cracking youth prospects in our club which will be given a freah start under mckinnon and i fully expect bates mathews court to take their chance, court has had a cracking scoring season last season!

I for one am glad mckinnon is in and is openly changing our football club again! Next level for us..

  3. So that's basically an entire new midfield we need, plus half a new forward line. If we can get Watson to sign on, we'll still need more cover for centre back.

Guessing Hill wasn't so much 'released' as turned down any offer we made him, he's more than good enough for this level and would surely be a great signing for either Dumbarton or Alloa, would certainly do a job for the Pars.

Wee bit sad to seem him go.

As for Moon and Elliot, obviously both are good players at this level, but you couldn't retain Elliot just on the fact that his injury record is horrendous for last season. Still think Moon would have been useful for us.

Hill never had any offer from rovers to turn down and yes the pars are interested in him, well big potter made contact with him.

  4. Mostly right, RATM. Mitch has said from day 1 with us that getting back to full-time football is his aim. I'm not sure if this took place after our match at Alloa but Murray slated the players and said a few would be leaving. It could be that Mitch has said it in the heat of the moment in an argument with Murray or it could be that Mitch had a deal with Grant Murray and that then fell through. Although I don't think we'll be offering him a deal now unless Aitken wants him but again, I don't see it.

Mitch had agreed a deal with Grant Murray, he then turned down the deal at Dumbarton only for Murray to get the sack a week later
