I think Hearts, Inverness and Raith if at full strength will all win comfortably. 3 full-time sides against part-time sides that hadn't played in months!!
  2. In the wake of Celtic rightly or wrongly winning 9 in a row (makes no difference to me) I wonder if there is:

    • A Celtic fan who thinks the latest 9 in a row is tainted.

    • A Rangers fan who thinks the latest 9 in a row isn't tainted.

    • A Celtic fan who thought Rangers didn't die.

    • A Rangers fan who thought Rangers died.

    • A Celtic fan who thinks Rangers are the most successful team in football.

    • A Rangers fan who doesn't think Rangers are the most successful team in football.

    • A Celtic fan who thought Big Jock Knew.

    • A Rangers fan who thought Big Jock didn't know.

Or is it all part and parcel of being a fan of that club?

  3. One of my bets were Falkirk / Cove Rangers double so I'm losing that one but one of my biggest winners of the year would be if Bournemouth get relegated.  I don't think we'll have any relegation in Scotland due to the league restructuring but there won't be any league structuring down south but will there be promotion / relegation ?
Sky bet have settled Cove and Dundee Utd as winners for me but Falkirk doesn't ssy lost. Strange.
  4. I've done quite big stakes on 2-0 & 3-0 Aberdeen considering it's on correct scores, with a saver on 4-0.

The only way I can see Ayr scoring is if we win a penalty.

Our 2 strikers who we have on loan are not playing plus player's player and fans player of last season Ross Docherty is suspended.

I'd imagine Alan Forrest will be up front himself, same as Saturday. He is not a striker, he's an attacking midfielder.

I should maybe have just done win to nil, but I'm being greedy haha!

  5. I was thinking the opposite with Alloa, long journey midweek on a shiter of a pitch against an in form team. That was a really poor result for Inverness at the weekend too. Alloa are in brilliant form. 4/1 is worth a small play surely.

Alloa have just had their astrograss pitch relayed recently!
  6. No goalscorer and 0-0 were the same odds at Hills.

Sky Bet and Bet Victor are different for example with no goalscorer obviously being slightly lower odds. 13/2 - 6/1.

William Hill has the best online odds - 7/1 for no goalscorer.

  7. As Bully wee Villa says, it's a free bet for a holiday, that's my strategy, so 10/1 minimum. Sticking to 2-2 this time as I changed my mind on 0-0 last time and made 46p. Might put a serious side bet on 0-0 though.

Go for no goalscorer instead! More than likely the same odds and own goals still count as no goalscorer! ☺
  8. Would it though? Dont you have to add a certain code as a new customer to get your bonus?

Ive went 50 on over 0.5 goals at 1/14 which returns 54. Then stuck 6 on a 0-0 draw at 8/1 with Skybet which returns 54. That gives me a 50 inplay bet for a 2 quid outlay. Think i might stick it on Ronaldo at 7/4 as an anytime scorer

Yeah you are right actually. Plus the deposit had to be turned over 3 times. Lot of rubbish! It was to try help a mate

It's hardly worth me even doing the offet tonight as 365 limit me so much! I'd place 50 on under 3.5 1st half goals then in-play I'd be lucky to get a fiver on anything. Joke!

  9. So is anyone going to give us an update on last night's proceedings at the Cairndale and did anyone ask Allan Johnston what he was going to do?

Allan remained very tight lipped about his future last night whilst Chairman Hewitson said he can go if he wants.

Source - Labour Councillor John Martin who attended last nights Civic Reception.

  10. The max you can get on Newtongrange at McBookie is £375. I am limited to 10% of every max to a normal punter so I'm not going to bother. I wouldn't be able to get near a Willam Hill at Ballingry anyway!

  11. If u r fancying a bet 2day back Merchant of Dubai in the 6:55pm at Hamilton.

1 of my mates was playing golf with 1 of the owners, who he knows the other day. He said this thing has been beating Hawkeyethenoo in the gallops & should win this upcoming race!! Hawkeyethenoo won a race at Ascot last Saturday!

I've been told a guy in Ayr just put £370 on it. He claimed trainer Jim Goldie had told him to put all his winnings from Hawkeyethenoo on this! It's round about 11/4, 3/1. Cheers.

  12. Orang Outan 4pm at Kelso

One of my best mates dad has a large share in this horse and I've been told by him that it has been working well on gallops, one of the best horses in the race and should be placed.

This is my first horse bet of this year and I have £25 each way on it at 7/2. I just decided to take it each way as if it comes 2nd or 3rd I only lose a couple of quid! I also put £18 on it to beat Loom in a match bet at 5/6.

I see its now 11/4 best odds!

One of the owners of Orang Outan texted me this morning saying

Monkey finished lame! Hence bad run! Also lot of money on him

It was a sore one for me!
