I think that I speak for everyone else that your persuasive arguments have convinced us all that you are right on everything you say. Now go away.

Motherwell to win the league playing sexy soccer combined with masterful tactics and sweep away all before them. The Vanguard Bears release a statement saying this erosion of Protestant values and culture cannot and will not, be allowed to continue. The Green Brigade come home from a 9 month aid mission in Yemen to find Operation stop 10 in a row has succeeded and rush from Glasgow airport to Celtic Park to hold a candlelight vigil. St Johnstone go doon.
Not without a hell of a lot of shouting and screaming, ending up in a messy, costly but ultimately failed court action

That £9m has been dished out to the clubs. The SPFL will probably be operating on not much more than thin air at the moment. But there’s a big wedge due from SKY by 1st August. And that’s rock solid. Certain. Not under threat at all. No siree.
So the court case bankrupts the SPFL. All the clubs say "Ah well, lets start a new club and call it SPFLWHPT" That's Scottish Professional Football League Without Hearts or Partick Thistle.

The last time Scottish Premiership teams were deprived of the blue pound St Johnstone had their most successful period in their history. I say "Bring it on"

You've spent 40% of the time since mid 70s reconstruction outside the top flight, most yo-yos come straight back up.
You're right. A true yo-yo club should have spent 50% of their time outside the top flight.

As far as the vote is concerned there is, as I have stated many times, no provision for rescinding a 'no' vote. I asked, earlier today, for evidence of this and none was put to me.
I think if I was going to spend 4 weeks creating a 200 page document of complaints about the SPFL, this would have been fairly close to the top. Is it in there and have the SPFL replied to it? (I've not read the dossier or seen it mentioned anywhere in the press so I genuinely don't know).

Yes. Because relegation is the only serious harm being done.
I've said that all along.
But that what happens every year, the bottom team is relegated. You've accepted league positions stand. Your only argument now is that you don't like the fact Hearts are bottom of the league and will suffer because of it. It's a hard life.

I've been quite clear. I don't see how you can be confused.
No team should be relegated in an unfinished season. The season is and will probably always be unfinished.
I'm not confused. League positions stand except for relegation because it's Hearts. Very simple

I want to change the rules to protect a club from something very harsh that hasn't been earned.
I'm happy with that as a stance. You seem content to punish a club for being bottom after 30 games. That's a weird stance.
St Johnstone would lose a bit of cash from a 14-team league though, so your self-interest is understandable.
So your happy that teams have "earned" the payments for their league positions after 30 games but Hearts have "earned" relegation for being last. Fair enough.

That's a falsely narrow choice.
The clubs could decide to change that themselves. Self-interest means they won't
All rules do not need to apply. You've just made that up.
Exactly. You can wrap it up any way you want, but you want the rules changed for self-interest, nothing more.

I agree there needs to be a clear policy on this.
In the absence of one ...
I say again:
If you accept that prize money should be paid out on current league standings then you accept that the league has been completed as "normal" and all rules apply. If you don't think the prize money should be paid out on current league standings then you must believe the league is null and void. Pick one

You've still not presented a single reasoned argument.
'It's sport'? Changing the rules midway through the competition is 'sport'? Really?
Relegation does not need to happen. Ethically, it should not.
I'm heading out to the shops now. We're not going to get a better answer for why Hearts should accept an artificial relegation because one does not exist.
What do you say to Dundee, Ayr, Arbroath, Morton, Alloa who have been denied the chance of winning promotion because the rules have been changed midway through?

Another 60,000 crowd by the looks of it.
The size of the crowd is a visual representation of the downsizing going on at Celtic. The hardest part of this demonstration was trying to convince the greatest fans in the world to stay away.

Tommy Wright was on the radio before the game the day Murray Davidson got injured slagging off artificial pitches and the injuries they cause , that’s 2 bad injuries on your pitch this season, potentialy another one with Stuart Findlay being carried off. Wonder what his big fat puss has to say now.
Something along the lines of "Just because someone gets injures playing on grass, it doesn't automatically mean artificial pitches aren't a load of shite. However, I wouldn't expect a drug addled dickhead from Kilmarnock to understand that,"

It's a pre-season game against a bunch of brickies.
And you were holding on for dear life
Anyone who takes even a passing interest in St Johnstone will know that those last 15 mins are typical of any and every game where St Johnstone are winning by a single goal. You may say you were unlucky because you hit the bar etc. but I'm sure if you looked back on previous St Johnstone match threads you would see the same complaints from other supporters time and time again.
It was a poor display from St Johnstone, but read the comments from fans of other teams - we are crap, we play anti-football and we are lucky. Fortunately, this style has served us well over the last few years.

Well said that man. I wonder how many people who complained about the 13/14 strip were sitting in Celtic Park at 5pm on 17 May 2014 thinking "I really didn't enjoy that. The strip ruined it for me."

You are wrong there though, it is not a cheap option. Not by a long shot.
The problem is, these idiots would still be employed for transmissions in England. The extra cost would come from having to pay for local commentators/pundits in the other transmission areas, so that Buddist Monk (and his Welsh and Northern Ireland equivalents) isn't subjected to the inane drivel that is causing him so much frustration..

I would like to publicly apologies to Buddist Monk for my ill-advised comments about Scottish commentators. I didn't realise his anger towards the BBC in general, and English football pundits in particular, was so acute or had affected him so badly.
I'm enjoying his rants though.

Speak to any German and very few consider England any great rivalry. Brazil, Italy, even the Netherlands, they all count as a rivalry while the English to the Germans are a side show. In England though, they are still so rooted to the past they will print pictures of players in WW2 helmets.
The coverage of the WC has been shameful up until now, everything has to have an English slant, and I mean fucking everything. That combined with the utterly partisan Hoddle, Butcher and co and it's like one giant contrived circle jerk. It's as if the BBC forget the first B is for British, and as for STV they are a Scottish franchise and have no excuse but are happy to broadcast the pitiful content pushed up from London.
I am a nationalist, but I am fairly reasonable about it, accepting that a lot we find annoying is not from intent, but it's also true the English can spend hours flipping between self flagellation and auto fellatio to the point it becomes utterly tedious.
Have you listened to Scottish commentators and pundits reporting on Scottish games? I would suggest every country has the same sort of idiots on their TVs and radios.
The problem they had was whether to employ Scottish, Welsh and N Irish commentators to cover the same games or to just piss of the viewers from these countries. They have gone for the cheaper option.

That is absolutely incredible. I never thought anything could be as bad as the 2014 cup final "song".
