Wasn’t expecting it to be so easy for us against a team that’s started the season well. Very pleasing and long may it continue

I reckon it would be very much the “Ayr way” to stick with Stewart as manager as it’s the cheapest and easiest option. I want him to stay on as coach but not as the main man

He gets a bad reputation here of course, but much of it is exaggerated and his behaviour is certainly no worse than that of a lot of the players we watch on a weekly basis (although magnified as he is alone on the sidelines as opposed to surrounded by players on the pitch). And I suppose he should be setting an example as a manager. But the way people on this forum go on, you'd think he deserves to be tried at The Hague for his misdemeanours.
But his record as a manager is pretty decent. Promoted out of the ADL after his first full season. Promoted into the top division at the first time of asking, where Kilwinning have remained ever since.
Final of the West in 2015. Semis of the Scottish in 2016, quarters in 2017 and 2019. Last ever Ayrshire cup winners. And a more than decent start to this season. And all that amidst what seems to be neverending turmoil off the park.Maybe I’m just basing it on the fact he wasn’t very good for us as a player!
I went to their game v Pollok a few weeks back and I thought Kilwinning were very poor that day. Strain was having a bit of verbals with a Pollok fan near the end.
Personally I just think if Strain is the level of manager we’re looking at then we’re in a bad way

They desperately need to get someone with actual presenting experience covering the games.
Eilidh Barbour would be a massive improvement for a start.
She’d be good, but no way will she leave a good job for one with the bush league that is BBC Scotland

Crichton almost forgetting who they’re showing next week, ehm a Dundee team as usual hen. Also she said enjoy the bank holiday weekend, a bank holiday for whom?

McPake next to go in the Championship surely. That Dundee team are gash

Dobbie has been very disappointing from a neutrals perspective tonight. Looks a shadow of the player he was last season

Is that a living roof on the Queens stand or does it just need a good fucking power wash?
Looks like it hasn’t been washed in about 100 years. Fucking rank

Queens should have scored there. 3 bites of the apple and still nothing

On this 70 min showing it’s incredible Dundee were tipped by many to be league winners

That's what they get for loading their picks with games from the Dundee teams. Although being able to see Dundee so much doesn't make me miss McDaid at all.
Yip, they’ve definitely got a staunner for the Dundee teams, and previous to this weekend Partick (who’ve been shown 3 or 4 times already) Even before the whole McCall saga I thought us v Partick was the tie of the week in the championship

Doesn’t look like Dobbie is going to trouble Shankland at the top of the Championship goalscoring chart this season.

Partick Thistle will be looking at more Ayr players in January or end of season
they will probably be cutting there budget so players such as Doolan Moffat Harvie and powill be on the radar I would think as well as one or two more
I’d be very suprised if Moffat left us, he seems happy and content since he came back to us and I can see him finishing his career at Somerset

Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce Dominic Thomas has signed a new deal to remain at Rugby Park until the summer of 2021.
The 23-year-old, who joined Killie in 2017, has extended his stay with the club after a promising start to the season under Angelo Alessio.
Dom has made nine appearance for the club this term following a standout season for Dumbarton in 2018/19, which earned him a League One Player of the Year nomination.
Speaking to the official club website, Dom said: “It feels really good to sign this new deal. I am very happy at Kilmarnock and I went to speak to the manager about the future because I only had one year left on my contract.
“He wanted me to be here for longer so for me it was an easy decision and I’m delighted to put pen to paper.”
Dom deserves his new deal, he seems to have knuckled down and has been working on his fitness, bulked up a fair bit & found a wee bit pace, over the summer.
Deserves to start against Ross Co tomorrow tbh......
He definitely did more in the 30 mins when he came on v Hibs the other night, than the majority of your attacking based players did all game. Suprised he hasn’t started more games this season tbh

Trying to plan things around home games over the next few months, anyone know when the next lot of TV games are being announced?

Our game is Saturday tea time and The Sevco-Hearts game is the Sunday afternoon.
Has this been announced yet or is it just speculation?

Never understood what takes so long to decide which of the two games is played on the Saturday and which is the Sunday

Kenny Brannigan in as coach.
Meh. Hopefully just a 4 week thing until we get a new manager and coaching team in (albeit keep Stewart as a coach)

I see Doolan flapping his gums again in today’s paper. I’m getting really tired of it, yes he’s a Thistle legend but he’s playing for a team in the same league now so he should keep his opinions to himself or stick to purely talking about the team that currently employs him.

Also I saw some folk on the SRE say Leigh Griffiths was there, and now folk think he’s coming in on loan. Can anyone confirm or deny any of this which I think reeks of BS
