  1. The only cure for a hangover is water. You need to re-hydrate your body.

Drinking Irn Bru - no matter what people on here might tell you - won't work. Whenever I get in from a night out - which is an all too often occurence recently - I take a litre bottle of water out of the fridge and drink as much as I can. When I wake up, I keep drinking water throughout the day. I feel fine and eventually have my appetite back by about 12pm. When I don't do this, I'll still be feeling sick at 6pm!

Water is the one and only cure for a hangover.

It does work, Irn Bru. It gets your blood sugar level back up. You should probably try it if it takes you all day to get your appetite back with just water!

  2. Obviously not, that's just hideous - but I go around with some very, very attravtive girls at University (who are coming tonight) and they're bring their equally attractive mates. Beezer!

I see you quite often at uni - always on your own. FACT! :P

  3. Don't worry, Chris. I am coming up on 19 and since I was 17, I have had horrible hangovers. Drink two litres of water before you go to bed and that does it. Even if it makes you sick, it still does the job.

Either that or buy a really cold bottle of Lucozade and down it in one (the biggest possible bottle) It usually makes me sick and after a beer, I feel great.

Drank a pint of water to try to stop myself being sick. ;) Which worked, incidentally. Just felt really rough for the next two days, which is a first for me. I never used to get hangovers at all until last year. :(

  4. Arcade fire tickets go on sale in 12 minutes

    Bloody lecture

Sold out both days in an hour! Very surprised at that! Decided against going anyway as my idssertation is due on the Friday of that week and I reckon I'll be stressing about that... ;)

  5. It isn't unbelievable, Liverpool fans have caused death to numbers of fans, Leeds fans have been acountable for one death that I know of. Also Liverpool are the only ones I've heard singing the Munich song recently.

    No. It's you that's unbelievable! :rolleyes::rolleyes::lol:

  6. Liverpool fans are worse than Leeds supporters.

    Unbelievable.

Politics and football do mix, whether people like that or not. Things like unlimited foreign players, all seated stadia in top leages, and many more things are the result of political decisions. As are the campaigns against some of these decisions.

The campaign against racism, sectarianism, homophobia etc in football is also political IMO.

I am unhappy with a lot of things that certain Ayr fans come out with these days, on here, on Honestpage and at games. I have said so to some of them. Maybe one day they'll grow up and realise that fascism and racism is not acceptable as "banter".

Fair play to you. Although I was unaware that there was an actual problem as such; I thought it was just two or three muppets on here.

  7. I don't know what you mean. :P

I didn't say anything about not liking Leeds for political reasons.

But you think politics and football should mix. May Ayr United fall swiftly down the Scottish footballing pyramid.

Incidentally, where do you fit in amongst the fascist fringe at Ayr?

  8. The Complete Stone Roses are on the very next night but no tickets left.

Heard they are a very good tribute band.

OCS on the 19th at carling academy cant wait

TCSR are indeed excellent, have seen them twice. Only problem is that both their singers have been much better than Ian Brown. ;)

  9. Even scarier, he's a World Cup winner

Roque Junior and Sakho are both decent players! Just because they weren't fantastic straight away on loan deals at a club already halfway down the pan in a country they knew nothing about doesn't suddenly make them rubbish.

  10. Mission: Impossible III - 7.

Far from the train wreck I expected after how woeful Two was, good entertainment and some amazing action scenes. Overdid the luvvie bits though. Well worth a look if it's your thang.

Just been to see that tonight. Was a bit puzzled by it to be honest, didn't really get what was going on some of the time. Lots of unanswered questions.

  11. My mate from Uplawmoor is getting married that day. Just checked your DOB and he's quite a few years older than you

There's a certain bloody important football game that day.........:huh:

Louis XIV are playing out here on March 14th, I had been thinking about going but after the rave reviews I might well have to go!
