    Alright people!

With the season fast approaching we have done pretty well over the past couple years helping your young players develop i.e Lyle Cameron and Luke Graham for example......Who can we have next?

Possibly a young midfielder called Lochead who’s apparently got English Premiership club’s scouting him.

  2. All the best to Max, hope he kicks on and makes us a few quid further down the line.

Tonight should’ve easily been 7 or 8. Ended up a good workout with us pushing for the win late on and having to break down a side that were giving their all and sitting deep.

Left back and centre half please.

Last time the DABS were in this league they proved themselves to be an absolutely shite bottom 6 team. Did they get any points after the split? Their team this year looks even worse and the manager is a proven dud.

    What's your point caller?

Think he’s saying we’re a top 6 side but not good enough for the top 6. Make of that what you will.

What a load of jobbies you speak on here man.

Firstly, we have a number of players that have proven themselves in teams that made top six.

Secondly, why does it matter anyway if they are 'proven' in the top six? Celtic/Rangers for example sign players usually from outside of Scotland, does that mean they are not proven either until they've done it for a season?

Thirdly, we have brought in players from other leagues that genuinely look very decent on first viewings (Ferry, Trap, Babunski in particular) and expecting a few more signings to improve the first 11.

Lastly, just because your team scraped top six one year where the likes of Hibs, Aberdeen etc had horrific season doesn't mean it will repeat itself, there is absolutely nothing to split the two teams and if you think so then you are deluded.

Was the 1st view not Falkirk 2 Dundee United 0 🥴

There is a fine line with "project" players. One or two is fine but we do seem to have a fair few at the minute. Whether they get that much game time is another story.

By the end of these cup games we'll know a fair bit more about most of them. Add a couple more, which we will no matter what Levein says, and the starting 11 probably isn't as bad as some are making out.

                       Rae

    Olafunwa Sanders  Cameron

                   Sprangler

    Wright         Raymond

                        Essel

    Kimpioka            Carey

                    Sidibeh

That’s a poor side. Maybe sign the groundsman’s son next to strengthen.

We also had a lot of loan players, some contributed more than others but we've had Dodgson, Beck, Babayoko, Boateng, Mellon, Donnelly, Costelloe that all had a few games and others that played less, we're going to need a few more bodies yet.

Yeah Beck up until he got injured and replaced by Dodgson, Bakayoko and Donnelly were the 3 regular starters from January needing replacemed. One brought in was Robertson who’s since got injured.

  7. I think we all know we’ll make another 6 or 7 signings and the likes of Kerr and Rudden will go out on loan. 8 of or regular 11 from last season are still at the club with new signings already in the door to complement things. Plus we’re looking for Main and Reilly to contribute this season along with the young lads like Graham coming through to help things as well.

Massive difference from this time last season.

  8. Without getting arrogant like they Dabs c***s it’s not going to be easy to finish in the top 6 if Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs have that shit together.

Yenitd fans are the Scottish equivalent of England fans. A bunch of arrogant, delusional c***s.

    Thank you.

Lost interest towards tail end of last season - had a rough time in personal life, and completely lost any interest in football. Was a worrying sign when I stopped going to Dens as it’s been a constant in my life.

Life is on the up and up though - the Euros arrived but I couldn’t be arsed going to Germany and barely watched any of it so far tbh - so assumed I was still a bit in the doldrums and had a way to go.

Woke up this morning and felt that buzz back - tickets bought for Arbroath, will sort my season ticket later and hopefully a sign I’m getting back to myself. Not even leaving the sunshine of Dundee for the wind annd icy sleet of Gayfield, nor  our inevitable shitey draw or comprehensive defeat can dampen my spirits.

    Mon the Dee!

Great to read you’re doing better. All the best!

Have I missed anything, have we broke ground on nou campy or we still in planning stage as of yet?

The next stage to get passed by the council is in August I think. The NCR building that was until recently a listed building has been knocked down for about a month now. Small steps I presume.
