Have faith guys, Queens have got some cracking young players on the sideline just craving to get an opportunity. Good luck to them I say!

I'm no sure that loan deals from Scottish teams is the way to go. The Premier youth teams in the Irn Bru cup didn't do very well and I doubt the youth players would do much for us either.

I knew loads who went to Gretna games, also plenty who travel from Dumfries to watch Carlisle.

It might have been better to have put the full Gretna 2008 name in the headline as there are undoubtedly many people who do not realise that Gretna reformed.
Did AFC Wimbledon not claim the old club's history?0 -
Gretna were founded by Gretna fans who supported Gretna. If Gretna had not went bankrupt then Gretna would still be watched by Gretna fans and so on its the same club.

Don't Breathe - 7/10. Enjoyed this. Built the tension really well and the twist was great. Some uncomfortable scenes to watch, particularly towards the end.
Shocking movie, typical American shite. As if the postmortem wouldn't let them know that the blind guy was the father and that the girl was friends with the other two robbers.0 -
If Dobbie gets injured then that wouldn't be far wrong.

He doesnt know.
You shouldn't even be visible in this topic buddy!0 -
I can't believe people actually believe Peter Houston's 2k a week spiel.
It's not far off mate and he gets his expenses paid too. Worth every bloody penny and anyone else who says otherwise is off their head.0 -
I recall people laughed!
We all knew it Kangy, we all knew it!0 -
Why is everyone shouting for Dobbie and Lyle to be replaced or rested? FFS they have been the most consistent part of the team and have scored a lot of goals. If we had left either out last night everyone one be out in arms and slagging Skelton off. It was just a bad night, get over it!

Derek Lyle is one of the fittest 30 somethings in Scotland.

50 odd years out with the top division in Scotland should let you know why Dumfries people don't bother going to games. This post is just let youse posters try to understand why locals don't have much interest in going to Palmerston.

It didn't happen when Gretna had ambition mate. Wind your neck in FFS!

Oh my word that is tremendous. Not that it matters, nor should personal insults like this be tolerated, but I'd conservatively estimate that the amount of unpaid, volunteer work SD does for the Club is far in excess of this.My point wasn't about the poster, I don't know him from Adam. I'm stating that at least I pay when I go to games bringing funds into the club. As for personal insults, stop sticking your beak in where it's no wanted, it's nowt to do with you ya kangaroo!

Cant believe people are still treating ParkgateHurts posts as if they are something other than the obvious tiresome trolling they are.
I wish you would stop your obsession of trying to tie me in with other posters. I am only saying what we are all thinking, too much of the same every other week. Couldn't' give a monkeys what you think, at least I pay to get in when I go to home games.0 -
There's been approx 600 empty seats the last 3 times we've been there so that's not quite right
It's only people like you that watch Queens through rose tinted specs that want to go to every game. We have played Rangers far too often lately for this game to gather local interest. Maybe if you all stop and think about it, the fan base is not going to grow much if you are playing the same flipping teams week in and week out. Grrrrrr!-1 -
For me it's just too frequent, it's almost like playing the same teams every other week and that is obviously putting people off.

Would have thought the championship winning team clinched it earlier a few seasons ago?

It was the 70s I watched Lexie Law, he was an amazing exciting playmaker and really made Queens tick. He is an all time great for me anyway and one of the best I have seen. Dobbie has everything too and is easily the best for 40 years.

I prefer to look at Stephen Dobbie as similar to Lexie Law.

With Stephen Dobbie and Derek Lyle exciting the fans, it's probably our best strike force since Ian Reid and Ronnie Hamilton played for Queens.

But Dobbie is 34 and the "Tan Man" is 36 so we might need cover during the winter months.

We badly need a club spokesman again.
