  1. Revisited Natural born Killers today. Was a firm favourite of mine through the late teens stage, Downey Jr's performance is highly forgotten imo (think this was during his drug fuelled days). The satire/pop culture setting of the film made it fun and still holds up after 20 years. Tommy Lee Jones' unhinged performance is great aswell. 8/10

  2. Whiplash (7.5/10) thought I'd give this a watch since a few mates recommended it. Surprised myself that I quite enjoyed it.....mostly jk simmons insults (reminded me of the drill sergeant in full metal jacket) the young lads determination and dedication was quite lifting. I would've stabbed simmons.......and his family if he spoke to me in that manner.

  3. Celtic Pride 8/10

No it's not about them it's a film about the Boston Celtics Basketball team. They are going for the NBA championships and are up against Utah Jazz with one of the Wayan brothers starring for them.

2 Celtics die hards ( Dan Akleroyd and Daniel Stern ) take things into their own hands to help their team try and achieve glory.

Quite cheesy but it has a few cracking one liners in it, one of my all time favourite films.

I've not seen that film in years. Was rather funny if I remember correctly

  4. Been on a film binge on my days off this week.

Triple 9....7/10. Since I saw the trailer last year I've been keen to see this. I felt that it was better than what some of the reviews had said. The action was intense and the cinematography was stunning. Didn't care for Kate Winslet at all and not enough of the new wonder woman.

    A simple plan. 8/10.

I saw an article on watchmojo.com regarding the best underrated films ever and this was high in the list. 3 guys stumble across a plane wreckage and a case full of cash, guys decide to keep it for themselves which proves harder than they thought. Billy bob Thornton was great in this.

    Kill your friends 4/10

Penned as this generations American psycho. I liked American psycho, I loved bales performance as Patrick Bateman. I didn't enjoy this neither did I like the characters. James Corden can fucking do one. The only good thing about this was the soundtrack.

    The wedding ringer. 7/10

I firmly believe that Kevin Hart is fastly becoming this generations Eddie Murphy. The guy is legit funny. I didn't care for the groom in this one. Penny from the big bang still is annoying on screen but an absolute wid. I chuckled at the "lost" reference at the end of the film.

    Dead Rising: Watchtower 7.5/10

Thoroughly enjoyed this. It stayed true to the games. Rob Riggle cracked me up as Frank West.

    The Martian 8.5/10

Finally got round to watching this and boy was it enjoyable. The Mars landscape was stunning. The science that went into the film was outstanding aswell, Damon's tongue in cheek humour took away the seriousness of the situation. Jessica Chastain is a godess. My only criticism is how they treated the rescue mission with the crowd gatherings in time square and trafalgar square.

  5. Had some spare time this afternoon so I switched the android box on and checked out a couple films.

The Condemned 2, was pretty much the same idea as The running man, was not as bad as I thought it would be.

    5/10

The Town That Dreaded Sundown, Remake of a 70's run of the mill slasher. I'm not a massive horror fan with the only exceptions being Halloween and The Shining but this one had me guessing til the end which was a surprise. A few notable actors in this with a surprising blowie scene which made me laugh.

    6/10

  6. The night before.

3 guys spend their last Xmas together on a drugs bender through the city trying to find this top secret "nutcracker ball". I'm getting bored of Seth Rogen but I thought Anthony Mackie and Joseph Gordon Levitt were ace in this. A few scene stealing cameos from James Franco and Miley Cyrus made this film really enjoyable. I wasn't too impressed with The Interview but I enjoyed this. 7/10

  7. Apart from grinding black ops 3 I'm battling my way through gears of war judgment, didn't get the chance to play it on 360 so doing it on back compatible. Absolutely love the gears of war stories and this is no exception, although I'm currently on the 2nd last chapter and I haven't faced any bosses yet.
