There's a primary school 1 minute walk from the ground with ample parking.

I tend to have quite a reasonable sized bowl of porridge at night but i like the sound of the chopped banana in it.

I tend to have my first meal of the day circa 11/12, mainly because thats when i finish class or when i get up, but im finding myself constantly hungry even after meals. I tend not to have cereal early on as it doesnt fill me up but nothing seems to. I have beans/eggs on toast mainly. Whats a good early meal to fill me up and keep me going?

I bought the books in 1st year as i head the fear but i havent bought one since.

Ended up sitting in Doctors for god knows how long a day. Should have been more productive.

I had Accounting 11-12 and BS1 5-6 three days a week. It was a nightmare. Im only in four hours a week this year. T'is ace.

Business Studies 1 is pish. Infact the first 2 years are awful until you can specify your subjects. Is BS 1 still at 5 oclock? I didnt last long going to lectures plus they make you shell out 80 sheets for a book i have rarely used,waste of cash. Scum.

She's gid like! Business Studies. Had a compulsory economics course in 1st year and hated it but currently doing Negotiation, which im sure is an economics course, and its good fun.

Cant help you with buses mate but from what i can see the last train from Central to Stranraer is 22.30 with 1 change getting you in at 1am. That change is at Ayr with a short change over period. Overall cost is 31.60 from Waverley. You would struggle to make that though. No chance.

Bloody Irish. The Yanks are a pain as well. Always talking too loud and always have something to say. Its awful how much i look forward to each day being over so Saturday can hurry up and arrive.

I dont know the timetable offhand and i cant look it up the now but id be very surprised if there was a train to Stranraer fitting in with this. By the time you land, get off the plane, get your bags and then use the shitty travel into Edinburgh from the Airport you are looking at the 21.30 train to Glasgow and thats being generous. The service to Stranraer isnt great.

Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street. Walk from QS to Central. Train from Central to Stranraer sometimes you may need to change at Ayr or suchlike depending on your time of travel. Cant remember the price but circa 30 /40 bucks i would have though.

My old man cancelled sky. To be fair i train a Monday and Wednesday night, work a Thursday night and Sunday afternoon so the only day i ever watched the football, the only thing i ever watched, was a Tuesday night as i watch the football on a Saturday in the boozer. Probably makes sense as he never watches anything but it still strange. Will just need to spend more time in the pub.

Greenock Central takes 31/43 minutes from Glasgow Central. Dont know why there is a time difference with some trains, more stops i assume. So 31 minutes will be your quickest time.

Far too many distractions. An essay due for Monday which is only 2000 words but it is taking me an age. Im half way there but boy its a struggle. Once this is out the way it is then onto the dissertation.

Why the hell did they merge the threads? As if one extra thread on the GN would make any difference at all. They werent even the same topic just both contained University. Strange one. It could have been helpful for potential students, now they will need to scroll through 100plus pages.

Uni you went to/are at now: Edinburgh University Best thing about it: Its has a pretty good reputation and is centrally located in the capital. The library and many other buildings have recently been refurbished and i have to admit it looks very impressive. Worst thing about it: Full of stuck up snobs and it seems to take an age to get exam results back although it vastly improved this year. Some of the planning for tutorials in the early years was very poor but i dont need to worry about that anymore. I assume it was due to a large amount of building work being undertaken. What is life in the city like: Edinburgh is an ok city. No more than that, everthing is too spread out for my liking. Rating the university alone: 9/10

I use the Third 2009 skin. I never change it as anything else doesnt feel right.
