Nadal calls for the trainer. Would he have done this had he been 2 sets up? He did say same knee as last year though.

I agree, this match really is there for the taking. Murrays serving has impressed me much more than it usually does. 6 acers to Nadals 1 in that last set. A wee early break and this game may not last too much longer although i have no doubt Nadal will fight to the death.

Murray has done well to hold his serve there. Hopefully he will fight it out to a breaker and who knows.Could be a long one.

I normally agree with your rating but not here. Batman Begins I love this film, i almost prefer it to the sequel. It an awesome cast and an all round good film. Without this film The Dark Knight wouldnt have been what it was. Also Scott Tracey from Thunderbirds is in which makes itall the better. As mentioned the ending is fantastic. 8.5/10

Someone can correct me if i am wrong but i always thought it was due to Peter's 'tactics' he used in beating O'Sullivan in the WC. He was taking an age to play his shots which got the Rocket flustered. Was quite funny at the time. It may have stemmed from something before this.

It depends how you interpret the word 'greatest' that i used. Stephen Hendy is a fantastic ambassador for the game and my favourite player of all time for his sheer consistency but i still regard Ronnie as the greatest player to ever play the game. Does 'greatest' mean the most naturally gifted player to pick up a snooker cue or whoever has won the most titles? Thats a question in itself. Another side note, i reagrd the quality of opposition to be higher now than it ever was. Again people will disagee. People dont class Joe Davis or John Pulman as the best players of all time.

Just finished Chris Ryan's Stand By, Stand Byin just over a week. As always with Ryan's book they are a good enough read and keep you wanting more. It has a very good storyline if not a touch more complicated than it needs to be. However it sems to be based on actual events. The ending leaves it crying it for a sequel which Zero Option may well be. Well worth a read.

O’Sullivan is regarded by just about everyone as the greatest player to ever play the game. Rightly so.

Far too much is being made of this. So what if he didnt hang about? He isnt taking anything away from Selby. Its people making a big fuss about it that are taking away from Selbys win. People saying Ronnie should quit ect as he isnt enjoying it obviously havent seen many of his interviews throughout the tournament then. Hes enjoying the game more than he has in years and his interviews are more respectful to his opponents, especially Peter Ebdon who he openly dislikes. Mountain and molehill.

Have to say i diasagree with the comments about Ronnie. Why should he simply agree with the Cliched pish that comes out of Parrots mouth? I like the fact he says what he thinks and not what he is supposed to say. A character. 'A bored genius'

Its been a belter of a final. Selby deserves to win after a fantastic come back. That last frame swayed so many times you just had no idea who was going to win it. You either love or hate Ronnie but his talent id unreal. You barely notice when he switches hands anymore as he looks so comfortable.

Final session about to get under way. Selby should really have gone in level at the interval but he's far from out of this match! O'Sullivan looking to win his 5th Masters title. Could be a long nights viewing. I expect the Rocket to pull out a few left handed shots for the Wembley crowd. 10-8 to Ronnie is my prediction.

O'Sullivan v Ebdon this afternoon could be a cracker. Plenty of needle between the two players. Ronnie described playing Ebdon as 'like pulling teeth'.

Posted on the horse racing thread but to no avail: Why when a race meeting is off due to the weather does it say xxx meeting has been 'abandoned' and not' cancelled'? Abandoned would imply that the race meeting has already started when it clearly hasnt? Is this just some sort of racing terminology or am i missing something

There's quite a suprisingly small amount of interest in snooker on p&b, compared to other sports that is. Guess that tells a story in itself. Anyway the Masters is up and running and oor Hendo is out, shock. He played OK but missed a sitter of a green to make it 5-5 and eventually lost out 6-4 to the fat p***k Murphy. Robbo v Ronnie is currently 4-3 to the Rocket. Could go all the way. Im not too sure who i want to progress.

I dont like the way this forum has descended into mere ratings of films without an explanation as to why. Anyway; The Damned United I really didnt know how this film was going to turn out as i had heard mixed reviews but if im honest it was pretty much what i expected. Im not stupid enough to believe that this film is non-fiction. Its fiction based upon facts which you sometimes need to remind yourself throughout. The ending made it all worth while as it highlighted what a great manager Clough was. 7/10
