  1. Aye a great day capped off with captain Stevie Prior scoring the winning penalty in the shootout. How far we have fallen since that day on the playing field, off it Central Park continues to be upgraded and is looking the part. Only way forward is the EoS league......
  2. Dont know him SB. I know auld Dougie and his pal Reggie who was doing the PA at PRP. Also know shirley who used to run the club shop. Outside of the club I'm friendly with a few of the Valley lads.
  3. I can confirm whitburnexile is a different guy. Asim was referring to the fact that Whitburn may end up applying to the north juniors just so they can remain "junior",that's why he made the reference to Deveronside JFC.
  4. Whitburn 0 Talbot 3 Spring 1983,was a sprightly 13yr old and went down to Central park with a few of my friends to see the above Scottish junior cup tie. Can remember the Cross Tavern being packed with Talbot fans as we passed by en-route to the ground. Thankfully we stood at the front of the old changing rooms as it all kicked off in the shed during the match!! Can remember the overwhelming smell of tobacco,Whitburn missing a penalty,Talbot's 3 goals but my overriding memory is a Talbot skinhead taking a kids golf club(a driver)out of a bag once he got into the ground !!!
  5. I know I'm regularly in St.John's Town and in both areas from time to time, but that dosnt change the fact,5th was Livi's all week long and twice on a Sunday sweetheart.
  6. Must be some amount of drugs floating about the Fair City(Letham/Muirton),can I have some please? No danger Saints would have caught the Lions, yeah our record against St.Johns Town fc isnt great but our home form would have seem us no lower than 5th,oh by the way,5th is where we finished.
  7. Why emigrate to North Korea when the UK isn't much different, lies and pish constantly getting spouted by the state media for example.
  8. Bang on charlie K. Where Ferguson dropped the baw is in trying to coerce the LL into Brechin gaining access to it if they got relegated, hes made himself look a right c..t Well the LL ship has sailed well and truly now after this,as charlie K says above you guys should be concentrating on the utter shitfest yous have been these last few yrs,if it's not sorted then you've got the likes of us drinking your village dry and deflowering your woman..........
  9. Bitter Larry from Lochee is back again.......
  10. A brilliant post self assembly, particularly on 2 points......,if the BU's get awarded their license then they are up to the LL no question and rightly so. But yeah 110% the LL should show no mercy to Brechin City football club when it comes to Lowland league admission if they get relegated in the coming season's.
  11. Oh look its Larry from Lochee United again !!!!
  12. Yeah they've gone and not heard what for yet,but wouldn't be surprised if its because of a lack of ambition by the Whitburn committee. Plus playing in a next to meaningless west lothian league.
  13. Whaal,is Larry fae Lochee bitter or what!!! Agree both the West guys have got a grasp of what's happening.
  14. Yeah gutted,I'm not visiting Glebe park next season with the Valley ladz. Was talk of a good support heading down to it for the novelty factor and a squad of us down here heading up to it,one day however.....
  15. You lot in League 2 seem to be a worried bunch and rightly so.. Change is coming, the pyramid is taking shape and the structure is now just about in place in the Lowland area. A new West of Scotland senior league is now set up to join the already and long established South and East of Scotland league's. All that remains is to get the structure below the Highland league set up,talks are ongoing between the HL,North Caledonian league and the North/Tayside juniors. Not long now till the likes of Talbot,Pollok and Kilwinning come knocking on your door......
  16. Because I have heard from a reliable source that this is all about keeping the lawyers away from the SPFL door. Feel for Clyde,Forfar and the Blue Toon though. My personal option would be 4 leagues of 12 or 3 leagues of 16 and straight relegation for the bottom club in league 2,every league the same as the Premiership, crazy having different play off systems etc.
  17. What it is coming down to is pure legality. With 14-14-16 ,no one needs to go to the lawyers to pursue a case against the SPFL,for denial of promotion as regards Brora and Kelty and relegation as regards Hearts,Partick and Stranraer. The season has been fucked up due to Covid, the above answer's the call and keeps the lawyers out of it.
  18. The A70 (Lang Whang) road which cuts thru the very southern side of West Lothian is braw, especially the part at the Harperig reservoir below the East and West Cairn hills, infact you wouldn't think you were in West Lothian
  19. An open door now for the BU's.. What date is the SFA agm in June?
  20. They took the huff at bring overlooked for an HL spot, their application was poor but they were the best team on the park at the time. On Fitba North it's been reported that BoD are saying it's a non sporting decision, also they are asking where is the leadership and the common sense from the NRJFA as it was their title a country mile away!! This could be the catalyst for a long overdue application to join the HL.
  21. This is a right boot in the baws for BoD,they've had the dummy oot for a good few yrs because the HL picked Strathy Jags,Formartine and Turra over them for a place in the HL,after a badly put together bid to get in. Now the north juniors have put the boot in. They are licensed,if I was them I would apply for the HL asap.
