I am fairly sure that is this game https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/5th-october-1991/
My mate from school is somewhere in the middle of that picture.
91/92 promotion season under the great John Lambie. That was a fucking brilliant time.
we beat Dundee 2-0 at Firhill later in the season in front of we!l over 8000 in the crowd. We were leading 1-0 for the majority of the game and went 2 up with about 10 minutes left. Absolute scenes in the shed, it is still one of my favourite games.

I think the wording is slightly misleading. The bing and the main stand are being transferred back to thistle ownership after ten years of being owned by propco.

Three Black Cats is the holding company, Low is a director of TBC.
Oblivion it is then.

Is this takeover a done deal?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chien_LeeJim Ratcliffe is buying Nice, should free up a few £million for Chien Lee to get us into the champions league.

What kind of player can we expect to see in Doolan at Tannadice next year?
Dundee United 0 - Ayr United 5 (Doolan 5)
That type.

Some quality investigative journalism there.

Colin Quinn is an utter c**t.
That said, the support today was toxic. Worst atmosphere since the 3-1 defeat to QOS in 2005 which sealed our fate under Campbell.
Some heads were gone after the first East Fife goal nevermind the second. There was a couple of guys down the front that looked ready for a 'haud me back' square go.
fucksake man.

Ayr away first day of the season.
I am ok with this.

I have managed to wipe the memory of the replayed match completely.
My memory of that game is that I stayed in the ground to the final whistle just in case we scored 8 in the last minute.

Anyone else have bother with the ticket website today? Renewed season ticket fine last night but would not let me buy a ticket for the Hearts game, just kept redirecting back to the home page.
Called Firhill office and got one that way although I am fully expecting some random at a completely different address to recieve my ticket.

Just a note to say it's been a pleasure being part of this forum for the last wee while, but on my drive back from work tonight I think I may have died and woken up in an alternate universe, as the radio was saying Ade Azeez scored and we never lost to Celtic.
I have somehow ended up in the exact same alternate universe.
It's pretty fucking good.

I am beginning to believe we could actually do this top six thing but I don't want to get too carried away and get my hopes up.

I cycle along the canal every day, the pitch has really started to look better the last few days, the only slightly patchy bits left are behind the goals at the city end.

Initial thought on hearing we had released 'a statement' was, that will be a major cringe but having read it, it seems honest enough.
Celtic taking the piss again with early season friendly veto.
Lack of ugly sisters home games. I hate factoring in the bigot pound but if the club have budgeted on it and others are gaining it does seem unfair.
Also Christmas/New Year fixtures are not great and will no doubt degenerate into an utter shambles once they are all shifted for tv.

Heavy rain for rest of the weekend but Monday and Tuesday forecast to be dry. Normally that would be game on, I'm not entirely confident with our pitch

That patch of land between the transport museum and the newish flats at the river would be a belter of a place for a new ground. If i ever become Russian tycoon rich, we are moving there.
If we were ever to move from Firhill that is the only place I can think of that would get my vote, walking distance from Partick and west end would not be too bad. Elevated steep stands and a decent terrace ~10,000 total capacity.

Now we have some money I hope we spend a little sorting the drainage on our pitch, fully expecting Tuesday's game to be off as well.

Fair enough. Decent view from there. Any idea what this area holds?
According to the internet, around 1400 is the standard away area.

I made the mistake of looking at the Thistle twitter page, the absolute glee from the da's is astonishing.
I haven't felt this low about Thistle since the worst of the Save the Jags days. You really start to wonder why you fucking bother with this shit.
