Well, this certainly isn’t going to reduce tension amongst the support…

Surprised it’s taken so long. There’s obviously a lot of tension just now , but when is it ever acceptable to be as personal as it’s become?

Last week for example , fans were actually getting called fu£&ing deluded for supporting a board, with no knowledge of they were or were not.

I have previously stated the spokesperson for the egm group, presented it peacefully and properly , but last week he was screaming the board were fu£&ing liars, fu£&ing wan&£rs and fu£&ing dicks.

Whilst I agree with that, in general, we should have found a replacement by now so that we wouldn’t “miss him” when the inevitable injuries occur.  If we have financial backing to afford to keep him and have a strong squad then that’s fine.

This is what I think Carsewell is supposed to be, pretty sure he’ll be asked to from tomorrow - up to him now to show what he’s got, and most importantly be the much needed and lacking leader

Being the host of the show hasn't always been helpful for someone that often doesn't like himself. Critique is fair but there is a line and sometimes that was crossed.

    Your tweets:

“You let your dopey pal introduce you as such every time you guys can be arsed to do a podcast”

“You should be enabling this board like him and his clown friend who interviews the clown manager.”

Aye totally out of context that. I’d love to understand what your beef is with this individual as it’s borderline obsessive.

Only thing I would disagree with is borderline

This thread is just toxic now.

Maybe time for reflection with regard to the value add of some subjects.

The quality of the football and current position in the table is more than sufficient with regard to negativity without all the rest, particularly the personal matters.

The toxicity around the club is unreal just now. Don’t remember this level of bile when we had to go up to Montrose final day of the season to avoid the trapdoor playoff. Things were certainly not as potentially positive off the park either.

not sure...maybe just a better fit with the other bid

Not sure about a lot of things

not sure about what alias to use

not sure what Clyde fan is secretly a spy of Stenhousemuir

not sure what owner to contact to get owners information

one thing WE are all sure of is what you are

    What an unholy mess.

As I said in two different conversations recently - stick to what you know and do it to help the club.

People getting involved in EGMs, Corporate Governance, Structuring alternative Board of Directors and so on when they have no working experience of such is frankly ridiculous.

For the good of the club - step back, watch what happens over the autumn regarding Crownpoint and funding, and then review the need for an approach to the Board - preferably done in the proper manner by those who are

    a. Competent in such manners

    b. Are the ones responsible for the 'detail' of the replacement Board and new Club objectives

    c. Capable of communicating a vision that supporters can make a judgement on.

If the above 'offends' anyone because they see it as condescending then so be it.

Get this wrong and the consequences could be severe.  Way beyond being angry at football results being very poor.

Superbly put. However without knowing what the actual motive and plan is, it’s hard to predict . Is now the only time their “plan” is most appealing to result beleaguered owners?

At least the Board have now given an internal statement to the owners on the official forum ( if anyone hasn’t seen it yet) clarifying and correcting some of the factually wrong points raised by the ‘challenging’ group.

All very messy and sad as the damage done already I don’t think we will recover from.

You may well be right , clear from the statement that any change will result in losing crownpoint and our donor.

also apparent that the statements made by those requesting an egm are words to this point where as the club have issued facts .

I’ve heard that Bobby Gracey is part of this apparent takeover bid. I noticed him at the game on Saturday but didn’t see him as part of the group serving the call for the EGM to the Chairman. It makes sense that such a smug, self-serving, c u next tuesday (in my opinion) would have others do his bidding for him.

Nae offence, Bobby - I just hated your previous spell as a director. It’s beyond me how anyone could think involving him in the running of our club again would be, in any way, an improvement.

Oh he was there all right , lurking at the back

    My thoughts exactly!

    Absolute vermin 😫

No sorry, that’s way ott. There’s a big difference from blazer whores like Bobby Gracey and Stevie Tennant using our initial signing of Goodwillie to further their own agendas, than a bunch of fans who fund raise, and had built affinities as fans and on a personal level over 5 years.

Whats your thoughts on Jon Craig? In terms of being a Championship standard player in the next few years.

I think he has a bright future, but he’s not came

back and started the season like he finished the last one. Young and potential, but his worst attribute as a left back is his defending

So is that an issue for you?
I don’t think I’d be too happy about that.
Suppose these processes always cause internal problems more far reaching than the initial intention.

Not answering for anyone, his name might not be on any list although heavily hinted.

and as I’ve stated before , I would be massively surprised if the lead in this went behind back(s) of people.

just hope the absolute fraud of anti fraud who was amongst the proper fans is not behind any of this

Great to see that some of the ‘supporters’ are benefitting from the club’s troubles.

Let’s be honest, wouldn’t take a genius to see the difficulties we were having with injuries and squad to see there was a slim to none chance we would get a positive result .

don’t see putting a bet on and hoping Clyde would be the team that bust that - is such a bad thing. Ffs, we have sabotage going on just now 😳😳

If this person is on this list of names calling for the EGM but they are stating they haven't signed anything and doesn't want to pursue this currently, does this potentially invalidate the motion based on misrepresentation?  Are there others in a similar position?  Did anyone sign the thing if actual signatures are required?

The question raised by HHFC would suggest knowledge this person is on this list of owners pushing for EGM despite no longer wishing to do so.

Hardly a stellar start if folk are being named when not wanting to be.  Amateurish really.

The fan who presented to Chairman is an honest passionate Clyde fan.

in a way I’m hopeful he’s not being exploited , as you say if there’s a name(s) on a list without permission, I highly doubt this fan was responsible for that.

    Totally agree

I was one calling for an EGM however now that Duffy has gone now isn’t the time for further disruption

I can understand the reasoning of those who have raised the proposal.  I am as frustrated by things as them the way things are at the moment

However unless those that have raised the action have an alternative(s) that is willing to stand up and show their plan to take the club forward any “no confidence” motion is futile.  We can’t just operate with no board

I would put any further disruption on the back burner until the Crownpoint matter is decided and we see evidence of the mystery supporter and to give McLean a run of games on his own to see what he can do

There is two others teams on 1 point and one on 2 at the moment so we aren’t the only ones to start off badly

So by calling for an egm, as far as I know they would need a minimum number of owners to support that and put their name to it
