Another piss poor performance. Really need to get the finger out or it will be relegation dog fight in our centenary season.
You need to keep 11 men on the park.

Fair enough you are entitled to your opinion.

Thought that was a proper game of Junior football tonight. The park wasn’t great and Blantyre put in some shift, especially, when they went down to 10 men. Darvel were the better team and the better team usually win.
-1 -
I’m sorry in this day and age you really shouldn’t be sharing DOBs on line.
You may even be breaking the Data Protection Act.
-1 -
The weather in Blantyre just now is pretty horrendous. It’s been raining solid for the last hour. Unfortunately, the Vics Park has very little cover for spectators so make sure you have your umbrellas etc in case it continues.

You are getting team and club mixed up. A lot of people do that !

Good competitive game between two talented teams. One that’s been together for barely 6 weeks and the other a team that has played together for years. The few Talbot fans that I spoke too were impressed by Darvel and thought they gave a good account tonight.
Talbot were the better team and thoroughly deserved their win. However, Darvel will learn from the game and in my opinion get better as the team settles.
Once again a great occasion at Darvel,a big crowd and a lot to be happy about.

aye nae bother ur knowledge is fantastic , fyi darryl is a defender and probably the best ive ever seen at junior level
He was certainly a class act mast night.

Thought Darvel ground out a great result tonight. Glenafton were well on top in the first half and squandered at least three great chances. Second half was dominated by Darvel who in my opinion looked fitter than Glenafton.
Wedneday will take care of itself. Talbot are a class act but if Darvel continue to improve they have a chance.

I thought the right back of Darvel went over the top of the ball and "done" Taz in the last 10 minutes got a yellow but he should have had a red imo
That’s your opinion mate and you call it as you see it. The tackle was a bit late and no more in mine. Yellow was a good call from the ref.

Counting has never been a strong point of mine either so I relied on recording them on my phone.
Darvel took 5 penalties (scored 2, missed 2 and the other was saved)
Hurlford took 4 (scored 3 and 1 was saved).
Therefore no reason to take the last penalty.Just shows the confusion the ref caused as we can’t agree on how many penalties were taken.

One thing I did notice last night was Darren spoke about signing 6 under 21s and freshening things up , were they aw on holiday as I never saw many under 21s on the park
Hurlford looked a really good outfit last night despite being a bit rusty at times. You can see why they compete for all the trophies.
One thing I noticed about last night was the lack of bad tackles. A few mistimed ones but nothing really horrendous
Thought the ref managed the game well except for his inability to count the number of penalties.

Thought the back four were superb.

A decent game between two well matched teams. I’d estimate a crowd of over 400 tonight with the bar and pie stall doing a roaring trade.
DL sure delivers when it comes to promotion of the game.

Just arrived at Recreation Park and I must say it’s looking magnificent. The playing surface looks like a bowling green and the new shed is the business.
Well done to all involved.

If it has to be it has to be, but my answer would be no if the results in the EOS are anything to go by.
I’m aware that a number of P andB regulars are supporters of clubs now in the EOS. Can I ask your opinion about the standard of clubs you are playing. I’ve noticed an awful lot of the results are very one sided with double figures on more than one occasion already.
I understand your rationale about joining the pyramid but you all can’t move up at the one time and if you have two or three seasons playing inferior opposition and running up cricket scores surely the product is diminished.

I would have thought that it would have been of much greater importance than "Player looking for club".
