Been watching and enjoying "Montreal Canadiens, Inside the rebuild" a documentary series on last season. It's on Crave in Canada but I'm sure there are ways to watch it in the UK too.

Can only listen to so many Manscaped sponsored podcasts before the brain washing takes hold and I become one of the (sheared) sheeple.

Have to laugh at the "Junkies in Greenock" comments. He was smuggling weed, not black tar heroin. I'm surprised it's still illegal in the UK, it's little different to drinking alcohol.

My 4 year old started French Immersion Junior Kindergarten (Nursey equivalent) two weeks ago, a few rough days to start, a couple of accidents because she was too shy to ask her teacher yet. But by Friday last week it seemed liked she was really enjoying it, picking up French pretty well, and she was gutted Saturday and Sunday are days off. Of course Saturday morning she wakes up with a sore throat and cough, two weeks was longer than I was expected before the sicknesses started to be fair. Now she's gutted that we are being responsible parents and keeping her off school one more day.

Thought I'd give MOTD a watch using iPlayer and a VPN, haven't watched it in ages, forgot how awful it was, 90 minute show for 6 games, outdated shite. Meanwhile the EFL highlights on ITV are an hour long and covered 30+ games.

The A-League and Australia Cup are everything I wish the Canadian Premier League/MLS and Canadian Championship were! Toronto, a city of nearly 3 million, having one big club, playing in an American league, where the nearest away game is 6 hours away, is a bit shite, I wish the city had more than one club and some proper derbies, even if we have to add some former Yugoslav ethnic identity to the teams to add some spice!

Had my oldest daughter's open evening for Junior Kindergarten (Nursey) last night. She's going into the French Immersion programme, meaning she'll be taught in French for the first few years, then go to 50% French 50% English. They keep stressing that parents don't need to be French speakers, but I'm still hammering the Duolingo to brush up on my high school General French and the French I've picked up from food packaging in the last 10 years here. (Still takes some getting used to, seeing 'shredded cheese' written in French!)

Brad Marchand is a wee rat p***k, but some player, his first goal last night was a perfect snipe. The officiating leading up to the Bruins second goal was pathetic though, Marner gets body slammed behind the net, then Marchand and Bertuzzi both get away with what should have been coincidental minors. Fingers crossed Willie Nylander will hop on the TTC and play on Saturday.

Using my VPN to pretend I'm in the UK, I've starting re-watching Underbelly, forgot what a great show it is, it, along with Love/Hate, is the best thing STV has ever shown! Aussie's do crime really well.
