Donaldson is 2 weeks into a projected 6 weeks out. Maciver 3 or 4 into an 8 week layoff. Mackie was IIRC from McGlynn a "Saturday has come a little bit too quick" was he not so no reason to expect him out long term. Morrison is the complete unknown in this, and Lang, as mentioned.

The updates on Tam Lang seem to have dried up a bit. The rolling 3 week target seemed to be annoying McGlynn, not sure where it was coming from or where the breakdown in communication is happening.

It's true that it is the toughest position to fill, but it's an outlier of a situation to be running with only 1 striker who is anywhere close to being good enough for the squad they are in. I can't imagine there would be many if any other teams in the SPFL who have such a glaring lack of depth in that department. I dont think there's suddenly such a dearth of forwards in the game that it should be seen as some impossible task in January. I tend to think our issue came from havi decided to gamble on just Maciver, and the awful timing of his injury.

I liked Beterbievs aggression in terms of making it a great watch and an intriguing fight. But I need it to be more effective to be scoring rounds for him on aggression alone when generally speaking, Bivol was outlanding him wuite considerably. That said, and Bivol was clearly exhausted, but to an extent, he handed over the last two rounds and I wonder if he regrets that somewhat now.

We are undoubtedly going to need to up the levels to kick on from a fantastic Q1. We need injuries to clear up, and we probably need 1, maybe 2 in January. Having seen everyone except Hamilton who we know well enough, we haven't been the worse team once. Everyone has had a look at us and will seek to adjust. But we've had a look at everyone too. Partick the first team to get a second crack and we battered them. Big disappointment not to win of course but they were the first established Champ team to get a second go at us and if anything, went backwards.

100% makes an enormous difference. And even more so in cases of a partican crowd

Connor Benn antics were beyond cringe. Clarke was away after the looping right, but if I'm being critical, he completely stopped throwing back, then he turned his back, and when he wad turning back round, totally failed to defend himself and ate a massive left hook. A very amateur response to being hurt.

Brian Graham continues to be refereed differently to everyone else. Boys only interested in wrestling these days.

Main thing for me now is hopefully Ethan Ross isn't out for long
