  1. Just watched the interview. Absolutely nothing in that for me at all. No way can that "get a grip" be interpreted as being directed at anyone in particular and certainly not directly at the lad doing the questions. Nothing to see at all.
  2. Agree with this having seen most now, there's not only no teams that look like they will be particularly free scoring, but no obvious "he'll get more than 20 goals" guy springing to mind. Callumn Morrison was our guy, but he's just back from illness and we'll need to see how long he takes to get up to speed and reacts to the tougher league.
  3. I don't think there's too much wrong with how you play. The gamesmanship got itself into the realm of outright cheating though and I'm having a hard time accepting that, even though it is 100% the refs job to sort it out, that any football fans enjoy that side of it to the extent it occurred tonight.
  4. As to our performance, we did carve out more and better chances in the 2nd half, and Nicky had little (if anything) to contend with. But..... I feel our subs made us worse. Alfie was pish. Shanley was pish, Morrison didn't really start getting a sniff until we were pouring it on later on in the match.
  5. Dint wanna sound like I'm just my teaming this but Livi didn't have an "offside goal". All thr players had stopped. I seen the flag go up well before the ball trundled in and so had Hogarth. Moot point I suppose. The time wasting was excruciating but let's not get distracted by blaming Livi for that (McGowan was actually quite funny pretending he was going to hit the deck whilst waiting to take a GK). The ref has to deal with that stuff and he utterly failed to do so.
  6. We might cancel eachother out in that regard too because generally speaking we come on in the latter stages too. A lot of teams don't keep up with us. Most.glaring example of this was Airdrie away. I can't imagine your players have had to work as hard in a first half as they did there, and if I'm being honest, I'd say we had to put a lot in too so there's a fair bit to learn about ourselves and eachother in the next 45.
  7. Pittman could very easily have been sent off tbf. The two of them having a fair old battle and there's a good chance one of them walks. Pittman had an elbow and a late on on Spencer on the touchline before he got booked, then had another fairly late one to stop a break. I dint think he gets too many more. He has in general had a decent game tho.
  8. We need to try and find Ethan Ross more often. I feel he'll have more success if we can get him in the acres that Miller and Adams have found but done little with thus far.
  9. A goid half of football. Both teams a bit loose right at the tickly bit but both have carved out some really neat play to get into good positions then fluffed their lines somewhat. Singling out the defensive work of Brad Spencer again. Been everywhere, tidied up a few f**k ups and tellingly coming in for some heavy treatment.
  10. Can't wait to see #CM7 back in action. 30 yard thundercunt please Cal.
  11. In danger of going a bit far here mate. I personally watch less and less of anyone except Falkirk. The ongoing story of Falkirk FC is a wee indulgence that I have allowed into my life since I was a kid. A hobby, if you will. Being a fan of Falkirk FC doesn't mean I have to indulge everyone that plays football equally. I know lots of Falkirk fans who indulge other football even less than I do and are interested in nothing except us. Where the stand has correctly been taken, and must continue to be so, is making sure of equality in terms of participation. No one should be denied the right to play football because they are a girl. (Other sports are available, the logic remains the same). But you simply have no right to dig folk out for not being interested in it, any more than you have to dig folk out for not backing their local curling team. Call out misogyny by all means, but don't be so quick to infer it on everyone that doesn't share you interest.
  12. I'd say conditions are fantastic for a game of association football under the lights this evening. As a member of the viewing public though, I have not one but 2 jackets, and a robust hat and gloves combo at hand.
  13. I honestly don't think there's a legit 5/1 shot in any fixture in this league, let alone between 2 teams who are flying high and haven't met eachother yet. A genuine anything can happen game.
  14. I actually think this could be a cracker. I also think some of our best and most enjoyable performances in recent times have been midweek under the lights, so I'm hoping we can put on a bit of a show tonight for another #massive crowd
  15. I highly doubt you know the majority of many, if any, collectives of people who would have required to vote to strike in order to go on strike. And I even further doubt that you know the majority, AND the majority of them are arseholes. Unpopular opinions are one thing, but your post just didn't make a shred of sense in the real world
  16. You're bound to known this was an absolutely wild take before you posted it? Or maybe that was the point?
  17. Fair play to you taking your medicine, that was a belter
  18. Yellow cards all round then cos Tait and Spencer love a caution aswell. Would he a great 5 card accumulator if it wasn't for the fact that yellow card banker Sean Mackie will be missing.
  19. IIRC tho, as they arrived into Motherwell the overhead shots were of a fairly large metropolis
  20. Re Nightsleeper It actually managed to generate some tension in places, but the overriding thing about it was just incredible stupidity from all characters, and a chronic lack of any realism whatsoever. I was particularly seething with the armed police getting on to clear a train of people, and various people telling them no im not getting off until I have done this or that.... Yeah, armed police on counter terrorism business are famed for their easy going approach
  21. Carling is disgusting, and is the fuel of the bevesticled, baldy Nigel abroad
  22. Mentioned this on here at the time but I was rough as f**k at a trampoline place with the kids and farted, it was f**king revolting and a wee lassie tore a strip off her wee brother for it whilst I laughed away in the background.
  23. Boy revealed himself to be a bit of a fanny with that one point tbh.
  24. You absolutely cannot be taken seriously now tbh.
