No idea, If we managed to get Sean in last week I’m no sure it would have been more of a issue bringing him to the club in the summer if we didn’t.

If the club and a player wants a move then it usually happens at this level.

Gala were well compensated, no doubt about that.

The deal was good for all party's,Sean wouldn't have been a kelty player in the summer if it wasn't done last week tho

the fact that you paid 5x your initial offer showed very little respect for Sean and Gala as a club.

As a hearts fan and seensesn at a young age I hope  does extremely well and eventually gets another crack at a league side.

To explain the recent transfer movement.

Sean McKirdy and Archie Campbell were always coming to the club in the summer.

Kyle Wilson intimated he wasn’t quite settling, we heard he spoke to some boys at Dundonald and he’d be interested in heading there. We then fastracked Archie with a swap deal. All parties happy.

Again Sean was a deal that could be done before the summer with Scott TM leaving so he could play more, again all parties happy.

This gives the 2 new boys a couple of months to get in, know the demands and settle for next season.

We felt the business to boost the squad for next season should be done early to avoid auctions, other teams nipping in and players upping their demands due to speaking to a host of clubs. Players to help the squad for next season have been identified, researched, reported on from January. Theres 4 pre contracts signed, they will join in May, the  squad is now complete for this season coming. We can all enjoy our summer knowing that’s the case.

do you believe Sean Mckirdy would be a kelty player for the start of next season if it wasn't done last week?

Met the new Manager Ian Fergus at Netherdale after our recent game and was impressed by him. Genuinely nice guy who has a good coaching pedigree. I think they should have enough to stay up but this is a tough league where everybody is capable of taking points off of everybody else. Preston proved against us on Saturday that they will battle all the way this season.

Really enjoyed watching this season.totally agree regarding the teams beating each other.other than the top 2 or 3 there's very little between the rest

There were complaints about the lack of discussion in this section so here is a thread for all things the Souters and their battle to avoid relegation.

How do you feel about your chances of staying up afca32?and your new manager/coaches?
