Falkirk TV worked well for me today

I just get the audio commentary on away days and since day one it buffers every 30 seconds for 10 seconds, very frustrating. Don't matter what I use, wi fi, Mobile data, phone, tv. Always same. Bring back central fm game commentary at least it didn't friggin buffer.

If he'd held his hands up after three games and admitted that he wasn't cut out to be a manager and it was time for someone else to come in, then I'd still have my respect to him. But nope, he soldiered on for most of the season and gave ridiculous interviews in which he said he'd need to pray more.

    Absolutely tainted.

eddie confirmed at time he didnt want managers job, he was happy with academy/ u21 team coaching. bod pushed him into accepting the position as a cheap get out. he did his best but he knew from the offset that he was too inexperienced and onto a hiding to nothing. i blame the bod at the time for him leaving club. i was a big fan of his as a player and was a genuine nice guy that got shafted.

    regards eddie may appreciation society.

  3. cant believe the lack of communication from the club. hardly surprising tho from them. couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery. no update on signings, no update on buy outs, no updates on st sales, no update on new strips, no updates on builders works at astadium. zilch, nada, niet, nine. feck all. embarrasing. no even an occasional tweet on things. really worried for the future, especially with only a few weeks left before preseason. cant believe my club is in the postion its in.

I don't think there is too much wrong with the budget , we have have been chucking money around all season - just badly.

Recruitment is everything and ours has been honking.

After signing about 40 players we have had not one we could sell on for cash.....and that was supposed to be the very essence of the BOD's strategy -  failed.

The best players at the club - Zak, Harry & DKD - are all on loan to us . We are developing these guys for the benefit of their parent clubs when we used to develop our own.  I'd hardy say that is a great strategy either.

thats the point im trying to make. ray and his team signed the players. the bods strategy might have worked if recruitment was better.(not advocating the academy closing, was against it )  im assuming ray made final calls on players...but his hands might have been tied due to budget salary constraints and not got the players he actually wanted. then again maybe he just has chosen poorly.

Gates of 4,000 yet craving a sugar daddy?

    Jeez.

gates of 4000  to be applauded especially with gash we have been served up....well where is the money being spent...certainly not on the team. or if they have we have been diddled. my understanding is the club is breaking even, just. the whole reason for binning the academy was to put all our money  into the first team suggesting we dont have the money to by decent players. also fed up looking at grangemouth i would like the stadium completed....and i know the arguments over not filling the current stands but it would be nice to have a finished stadium.

currently we dont have an academy now, what are we going to sell to boost coffers next season if we dont get current bod out.

  6. dont know anything about this agent, so wont comment either way, just fed up and want to see us competing in the leagues again. this signing luke warm journeymen isnt working, maybe if we had a better budget or at least better recruitment we could compete better. or is it the manager. have we signed a diddy? who cant motivate? seems a real lack of basics and creativity in the team we have. that said we will lose the best we have back to parent clubs. left with the dross yet again. another team building excercise this summer, whether we stay up or go down. and if we stay up does anyone really think we can compete with what we have?

a lot of blame going to the bod for the shambles the way the club has been run and rightly so, but do they restrict the playing staff and signings or is that all on ray. he has had half a season to turn or at least compete to keep us up. the alloa and morton games have killed us recently - if ray cant get the players fighting in them what use are they?

Who exactly has been lording it over Morton fans. We don't care about Morton, I mean its an ok fixture because you can get the train to Glasgow before and after for a piss up and its nice to stand on the terraces but other than that Morton mean nothing to us.

You had a manager for six games or so that tbh a lot of Falkirk fans, myself included weren't really that excited about signing, presumably on better terms and more money than Morton offered. Let it go, I get the irony and banter but this faux rivalry is a bit far.

agree. waste of oxygen the morton trying to create goad into some sort of rivalry. morton  wont get betweeen us and the fifers, were too busy. go get your own/ find someone who cares what you do to build a history relationship with.,

Don't want agents anywhere near the club as owners but couldn't care less if they are Falkirk fans or not. Dare say there's a few Falkirk fans amongst the current lot and that's got us nowhere. We need people who understand football and business. That's all. No interest in what strips they do or don't wear on a Saturday.

agree with the sentiment however i think we are over a barrel when it comes to finances and really need some type of sugar daddy to come in and bail us out and take us forward. agree dont care what club they support as long as they support and provide necessary finances to progress falkirk in the leagues, finish the stadium and get us playing with a bit of finesse and entertainment again. been dire the past couple seasons.

  9. the alloa result last night was a right kick in the teeth. im sure morton did it to spite us. i really dont see us getting much in the last few games, if we dont beat the fifers on saturday then i think all is lost and we need to prepare to dust off the flip flops for the seaside league. right now apathy has set in, glass half empty. totally scunnered with this and last season. especially after such good seasons previous to this era. would we be in this situation if we had held onto houston, probably not. that said i was one of the many looking for a change, just didnt think we would be this bad, not the change we were looking for. ah well back to work. rant over.

hopefully i will be pleasantly surprised and we will win the remaining fixtures and life will be good and all sunny again.

prices will have to drop quite a bit to compensate , we are already overpriced for the championship.   need to start thinking seriously about what players we would take with us in the event we do go down

dont think we will retain many of the players we have at present, most are loan signings and others probably have relagation clauses in their contracts i would imagine. plus wages would need to be lower, as club income would be lower, a lot of current regular supporters will disperse, there is no debating that.
