One of the worst St Johnstone performances I can ever remember seeing, when you add in the context of both clubs situations. Last home game on a Saturday for a relegation threatened side, against a half arsed outfit who's managers on the brink, and we play like that.

There's nothing about this squad in terms of fight or heart, and with the lack of confidence the quality goes out the window too. All that made worse by a set up that encourages a lack of tempo and lack of passing options.

We might scrape 10th but you'd still happily see virtually the entire squad, and manager, dumped.

Don't forget the current assistant, so called, coach, and the rest of the backroom staff. Been inept and invisible for the last 3 seasons.

Well your club certainly aren’t. They’ve already proven that.

TBF to him, the boardrooms of most of the 10 clubs are likely full of members who see themselves as having an affinity to one of the two cheeks.

It's only ever the fans that want change and a competitive league, the chance was lost in 2012.

Didnae get pumped so that’ll have to do.

First half we were chasing shadows a bit but hung in at least. Improved 2nd half and gifted Rangers the opportunity to kill the game with the very on trend penalty concession for hands up. Thought the first penalty was a dive and I’ve no idea how the VAR review missed it. Also looks to me like the goal is an OG off Kelly after Dessers squaring/misfiring. The angle from opposite side shows it going wide before Livi player touches it, no?

The VAR review wouldn't have missed it. The question should be, who decided it wasn't worth bringing to the ref's attention, and why.

And Haring gave them that lift with an act of lazy defending. Its not Alan Muir or John Beaton's fault in any way

I've always detested the rise and rise of this particular type of cynical foul which is very rarely penalised.

I trust however that MIB/VAR ops will now be free to pick up shirt tugging by TRFC players in their own box? Surely another precedent has been set.

Well I know it was two stupid penalties to give away, but the last one definitely felt like the referee was looking for a reason to give it - very much same vibes as the Scotland-Spain match recently.

Refs seem to be forgetting it's only "clear and obvious error", not "every tiny thing". Very frustrating

    The VAR operator.

But your basic point still holds true. They needed a lift from somewhere.

How many 3-0 maulings is that we've dished out this season now? Two in particular certainly spring to mind.

Of course in the great scheme of things it doesn't matter how many you dish out. You'll never be allowed to attain 2nd place. You've surely seen the decision making this season that has ensured that the other half of the twins is cemented into that position. My god you've only got to look at the penalty they were awarded today and then look at the one that Killie were denied to know how things will never change.

  7. You just know that any handball, of any sort, by a defending player in the away team box at Ibrox will result in a penalty. 'It's the law'.

When you look at the similar incidents (at least 3) that they themselves have gotten away with in recent weeks it merely reinforces the perception of, at best, incompetence or... simply cheating on behalf of the institution club.
