  1. Praticality plays a big part for me - I like the Black one but also really liked the current away one and as somebody whose kids come back with their white shorts and tops absolutley filthy after playing on grass on a Saturday (or it seems every other day just now) I wouldn't buy the all away white kit if that is how it went -anyway really like the Home Kit and excited to be back with an all new look team and looking forward to physically being at a game.

Disappointed to lose Tapps and that must be one of the shortest tenires of a club captain Ive seen.

  2. I still rate big Morgyn and nobody doubts Marsh’s commitment but big Andy is an organiser and we have desperately needed that. Huge game on Saturday and I don’t think the play offs will be easy if we get there. I also think it would be nice not to have one season where we finish either top or at least out of the bottom 2. Either way I will renew my season as when I got my first one in 1987 I knew that it was not going to be all European Cup Finals [emoji23][emoji23]

  3. So the best we can get is a play off place after being thoroughly beaten on Saturday. Referee was poor and Baird should have walked for three bad tackles and Munro gets sent off for swearing[emoji35]. About what you expect from that clown who is one of the poorer referees about. Every time we ask the community to get out and support we have a stinker although genuinely think Forfar would have beaten us even if we had played better. 2 very big games and then it looks like the play offs it will be Clyde in the first round if we get there. Every year drama till the last[emoji848]

  4. Starting to look shaky, massive game next week against Dumbarton, need a win to pull us back in to the pack, looking for Forfar to beat Brechin who still have a game in hand over us. Always expected a tough season but desperately struggling to put a run together, why we decided to go with an inexperienced manager is a mystery. Saying that Jim Duffy not exactly working miracles although he may get money in the window which Colin may not get[emoji848]

  5. Sorry I missed it but didn’t see it until late and as I work away couldn’t make it. What was the thoughts around targets for the season, ie 10 points per quarter would it be enough. Actually I don’t think the team have been outclassed this year but we need to turn the narrow defeats into points and on the rare occasion when we do go ahead we need to defend it better.

  6. It’s going to be a very tough and long season, losing too many bad goals and don’t ever look like scoring. Twice through on goal and need to make these chances count. O’Hara busy but that’s all. Disappointed in Reid, a very poor replacement for Ross Meechan and although defensively it will take time to settle by that time we could be in a 3/4 way pure relegation fight. We need more width and with Cook off form I don’t know why Duthie wasn’t on from the start. It’s early yet and a run of results could make a difference but really difficult to see it with the team in the form they are in at the moment.

  7. I thought Gibbons played well tonight, worked hard, tried to drive forward and I thought him and Dickson did okay in the centre, we certainly lack guile and creativity in the midfield though. Interesting to see the highlights but looked like mistake by Garcia for at least one of the goals, that might be harsh as its difficult to see depth from the other end of the ground but looked like he had a swing at the cross and missed. Dobbie is a threat and with 10 goals already this season he is a class above, changed the game as first half there was nothing in it. More importantly on to Saturday. BTW what a crap crowd tonight.
