I really wouldn’t want Brown! Not because I think he would be a bad appointment. Reckon he will be a decent manager but it’s all the constant nonsense the press will come out with every time we play the Cheeks. Former captain against his mentor. Are you more up for it against Rangers. Do you want to be Celtic manager one day! We would do well to stay out of it , next appointment needs to be all about St Johnstone!

Surprised by this! But pleased it’s not one of the BBCs chosen ones! Larne have a rich owner who has provided probably the most funding ever for a northern Irish club over the last few years. Seems an unusual career move to swap it for a relegation battle. I’m now fully aboard the lynch brothers train! Now my excitement is peaked I’m fully expecting Ian Murray to be announced!

We have Adam Webb for that! Ian Murray bottled the championship and then his team were embarrassed in the playoffs! Both St Mirren and Airdries fortunes greatly improved after he left. I honestly don’t know what he has done to be strongly linked to the job (actually I do know, he played for rangers, and we know that makes you over qualified to manage a diddy team)

Scotland's Best Ever Uncapped Player
LarsGunnar Carlstrands Dog replied to BB_Bino's topic in Tartan Army Ramblings
Ken McNaught - English first division winner (played every game that season) and European cup and super cup winner the following season with Aston Villa. His Dad was capped but he never was. -
When Callum left, Brown was one of the first to come out in the press and criticise him. He might have been correct but Callum was also the reason he had a decent gig in the top flight of Scottish football. Disappointing lack of loyalty and made me lose a bit of respect for him. Thought he might be able to pick up a club higher up due to his CV but he will always have that goal against the Rangers!
