    Stewart Petrie is resting players against Falkirk (source: horses mouth) to save them for what he sees as a more important/winnable game against queens (again his words not mine, sees Falkirk game as a free hit, which we hear a lot now and I detest).

    That's good odds for Montrose

    I found a £2 coin on Sunday and thought I'll waste it on Queens to win vs. Montrose. Must be good odds - geez did I get a surprise when I saw the odds.  (Apologies  £2 on Montrose; though I would be delirious if we won)

  2. Well I voted for him as next manager -so that means f..ck all I know, but  hope it goes well for him which means Queens will improve.

    Then I can go to the pub and celebrate - for a change. Walked to the pub at 1-0; No surprise it was 1-1 just after and then I hoped ( but knew really) that there was going to be a winner and it wasn't us.

    Fingers crossed for the rest of the season ... unlike the defence who seem to have their legs crossed.

    Dont know. I wasnt there. Hopefully we will get a report at some point.

    Apologies for not knowing many of the players - lived in Perth too long !!

    As far as I could see it was the same team as started last week started today  - Don't think Tremble played though- looked like a different no 9.

    3-0 down at half time. Looked like Gardiner went into back 4 at half time and no 6 went into mid field. He played well;

    7 Ivison ? had a good game and the rest of defence not too bad either. They all worked hard but Saints were just that wee bit slicker in their passing; Getting the ball forward without the extra touch.

  4. My first Queens game was in the dim distant past of October 1963 when I was 8.

    QoS reserves vs.Rangers reserves. Daft question but I see they're playing on Monday.                                                  Can I get into see the game?

    I seem to remember they lost at least 4-1 - might have been more. It was a dull dreich day and they were 4-0 down when Queens scored and someone shouted "Come on Queens you've got them rocking now" - strange what you remember.

    Also be driving down on Saturday with  St.Johnstone fans in the car - oh for a pleasant drive home.

  5. I have to admit that when I look at the highlights I always stop after the Rangers fans suffer that attack of laryngitis. Just to stay on that happy memory high !!!

    Watched it last night and I still got goose bumps. I had of course watched the semi final first.

    Train down from Perth that day gave much amusement to the Aberdeen fans - strangely enough a lot quieter going home apart from the sound of some self flagellation.

    (the Dons fans not me !!!)

    --- happy days
