This. It looks great cosmetically but it’s bobbly as f**k and causes some amount of errors at the back and when trying to shoot.
Tonight was the lowest of the low. Folk can take positives from the second half but it was about as demoralising and humiliating as they come. Watching them stroll around Somerset seeing the game out with paper roses and the billy boys in full swing. Only regret is not leaving earlier.
I was caught up in the hype from Saturday and was all for the same setup but now I realise why I am not a football manager. 4-3-3 was the way to go tonight.
Can’t help but fear that this back 4 will be back for another season unchanged and therefore we will be struggling mid table dross yet again due to the fact we gave Jordan Houston another contract and the mcginty clause thing. Also Muirhead will return and paddy reading seems to give a lot of fans a hard-on for no apparent reason.
The billy boys in full swing???
Geez peace mate, nobody was singing that.-3 -
Has the away end sold out? Trying to get another 2 but says none available?
Don't know if it's just crashed. Can you phone the Ayr club shop and pay by card?0 -
What's the weather like up there?
Do Pars fans think there is any danger of this not going ahead?0 -
Any word of when the tickets will go on sale for the derby?
Still have nightmares over that cat the last time [emoji85]0 -
Please, fellow Killie fans, leave this nonsense aside.
Ayr Utd have been an irrelevance to me for nearly 30 years (and us to them I'd imagine)
Yes, I will be giving them abuse on Wednesday and expect the same back but at the end of the day we will support (our teams). It's a derby and that's what happens.
I've said for years that I respect a guy from Ayr going to Somerset Park every Saturday rather than a guy travelling to watch the OF.
Considering Ayr's history (and this is not a dig) I would consider them to be the very definition of "not a glory hunter".
Fair play to all and let's hope for a decent game on Wednesday (as long as Killie win) [emoji1787]1 -
Had a wee chuckle at that, [emoji122][emoji122]It's not often you come on here and see folk hoping to get beat so fair play.0 -
Are you for real??The day we win promotion to the premiership as Goodwillie knocks in his 20th Rovers goal of the season, I can bet there’ll be a few fans on here singing his name!0 -
Plenty on street parking in surrounding areas if you get here early enough. Heard you guys have sold 1500 which is pretty decent imo.Driving through to the game on Saturday, is there plenty places to park close to the ground?
Fully expecting a gubbing tbh, especially if Lafferty is back for Killie.1 -
Keep hearing conflicting stories.
Can anyone confirm whether there will be a PATG option for away fans?0 -
Aye I thought Armstrong was pretty poor for us tonight, your full back played him well. How is the big No. 9 for you normally? Doesn't look much of a footballer on tonight's evidence?Bit confused at Killie fans praising Armstrong. I thought he was absolutely anonymous and was well marshalled by Reading. McKenzie was pretty good though.0 -
Cheers. Not sure, but if you keep coming along after Tesco, you might be able to turn into the racecourse and drive up and park in that area of car park as it’s usually open. There’s a road block to stop cars driving in that way to McDonalds, but should be ok to park in the car park before.0 -
Would the Tesco next to the racecourse be OK to park in, or do they have a time limit?

My email says 3. So roughly 830 per turnstile in 15 minutes. One per second. [emoji1787][emoji1787]Is this some sort of revenge for us not having away fans first game of the season? How many turnstiles do you have at away end?
I seem to recall it was about two!
These clowns are having a laugh.

I think there might be a wee flaw in the plan though. How does asking 2500 people to gain entry to the Railway End in a 15 minute period, encourage social distancing?Clubs need to be shown to have put plans in place to maintain social distancing, everyone knows that it will not happen 100%0 -
Was at the game in 88? I think when we lost 4 -1. Ayr actually named their fanzine after that result. Went through a good spell after that under TB, will never forget him banging one in from 30 yards with his right foot. Johnny Sludden scored that day also. Another 3-0 not long after that when TB lobbed the keeper. Think the Porteous one is our last win there, our record has been abysmal.
Hopefully that changes on Tuesday.0 -
I see the ticketing system is working a treat this morning.
Who'd have guessed it?0 -
As a Killie fan, I have to say I have enjoyed playing Hibs the most over the last couple of years. Ok, they weren’t up to much yesterday but understandable as they had nothing to play for. Last season there were some great games between us and the 3-2 at Easter Road at the start of the season was another cracker. They always try to get the ball down and play and make the game worth watching. Give me Hibs over hammer throwers like Motherwell, Hamilton, Hearts etc any day of the week.

I don't think we'll be wanting Thomas back, so you should be OK on that front. He's not good enough for where we're trying to be.
I’m not sure pal, never had many chances with us. This could be his big opportunity. Would certainly give him a run out against Forfar.1 -
Hmm, I'd say if Thomas doesn't get a chance now following all this Jones business that's officially curtains for him at RP. You might be disappointed.
Got a feeling that Thomas may get a chance to prove himself now. I wouldn’t let Jones kick another ball for us. He can train with the youths as far as I’m concerned.0 -

Plastic pitch to blame IMO

Oops.
Looks like Hippy eccie's memory's not as sharp as he thinks.
On the other hand, the team he gave looks very similar to the one who kicked us off the park in '67.
The only recognised first team player not playing that night was Big Jack Charlton who was injured as I recall.
He said Leeds went on to better things, whereas Accies went on to..................................................
Hunter, Bremner, Giles, Eddie Gray etc. must have missed the team bus. Either that, or happyaccie is talking complete pish again.
I’ll hazard a guess at the latter.3 -
Blackburn won 1 title Leeds contested and won every major cup down south , they regularly played in the quarter & semi final stages in European competitions, the season prior to our friendly they were beaten finalists in the now defunct cup winners cup, the season after the friendly they were beaten finalists in the European cup by Bayern Munich, from memory this was the team fielded against us
G. Sprake (Wales)
P. Maddely (England)
F. Gray (Scotland)
N. Hunter (England)
T. Cooper (England)
B. Bremner (Scotland)
P. Lorimer (Scotland)
T. Yorath (Wales)
A. Clarke (England)
J. Giles (Rep Of Ire)
E. Gray (Scotland)
all of them established internationalists.

How good is Adeloye do you think lads?
I thought when he came on against us at Rugby Park he was unplayable and gave us water on the head. Have to say though that in the other 3 games he was anonymous and actually got taken off at half time the last game.Granted, that's the only times I have saw him in the flesh, but do you think he's got the ability to play at a higher level, or is this his limit?
