What an absolute joke of a punishment from SPFL. IF and it's a pretty big IF we were extremely naughty and bang to rights, surely any fine should be paid to Morton by way of compensation.
Funny as f**k though but just shows the league's motivations when coming to these decisions, boosting their own bank balance

Not sure how reliable this is as it came from a mate who supports Dunfermline (Yeah I know) but rumours are from their side, Hippo is coming to us as part of a swap deal.
Apparently they are desperate for a centre half and a striker so might be possible that either Harrison or Brough is going the opposite way which would put a slightly different angle on things. Although could just be a load of shite

Was at Dens Park of all places when he made his debut as a sub. Super Stainrod was sitting in the Dundee directors box and I was just under where he was sitting. McColl started to warm up and the Bairns fans started 'He's blue ! He's white ! He will fill your shoes with shite. He's Ian McColl !He's Ian McColl' the Dundee fans started as well. Hilarious Super Simon being the god he is was laughing as well. One of the few times in all the years I have watched football, where 2 sets of fans all laughed and joined in with the joke. Jeffries, Brown and Houston in the dugout ( not exactly a cheery line up ) were even laughing as well. Great memory of a good time to be a Bairns fan.
Was it not... 'He's white, he's blue, He shat in Simon's Shoe, Ian McCall, Ian mccall'

He also won league 1 with Wigan...
That's the equivalent to us winning the league next season after we have been relegated
He was then sacked after a handful of games upon his promotion

Gary Caldwell has relegation written all over it. Been relegated under similar circumstances at both clubs he's managed so far and subsequently sacked twice and considering he's still only 36 that's worrying

My first post in years, feel compelled to get involved given the shambles we have become.
If McCall and McIntyre were/are our 2 main targets then that shouldn't change. Looks like McCall is def a no go now tho given recent statements in the media from their end so that leaves McIntyre.
Could see the point acting quick to get 1 of them before today to let them get their own signing(s) in but given the transfer window shutting tonight I no longer see any rush to appoint. As it is now the case that any new manager is stuck with what we have until Xmas what we need is a man manager who can specialise in getting the best out of what we have. In that case id leave young in caretaker charge and see if he can motivate without Hartleys negativity. During this time the BOD should see if they can persuade their 1st choices instead of falling further down their wish list. Who knows, maybe the caretaker can make an impact

If the Falkirk Herald has any sense, they'd pick up on the point raised regarding the racism claim and mention the apology. Would go some way to clearing some of the unjustified bad reputation our support was tarnished with, as well as the wrongly accused individual.
Having something in the media clarifying the true outcome of the false claim would go some way to provide a point of reference any time our name is dragged thru the mud and I'm sure our fans would appreciate the herald for doing so
