  1. So some here are not fans of the board - fair enough.

Some here not fans of the manager - fair enough.

How many on here feel we have the playing squad capable of at the least consolidating a play offs spot?

I suspect, a few - so if some cant support the board, or some cant support the manager - can we not show the team on Saturday we support them?

  2. Bringing this back up to top, as I'm getting installed 11th December. Don't have 4k, but would appreciate any info on how reliant it is on broadband - as Im only getting unlimited and not fibre.

Any tips or common early noob mistake avoiders appreciated too.

I despise Alex Smith. Other than Bomber Brown, to me the worst manager we have ever had. The damage done by his academies and his arrogance, and basic lack of managerial skills was a massive contributory factor in why Clyde's move to Broadwood almost 25 years ago has not worked to this point.

Tbf I thought he did it for a reaction rather than a genuine mistake

Yeah me too - guys on fire just now.

If this is Jericho's last big run, we should enjoy him as much as possible. WWE will be a worse place when he decides to hang up the list and scarf.

Gutted I had to miss last night but going along tonight for Smackdown.

I really struggle to watch Raw live because of the amount of adverts you need to go through, what was that like live? Is it broken up or does it still flow well live?

You can definitely tell when adverts are on, but it also allowed the several ring and mat changes that take place. There's actually an awful lot goes on during the ad breaks, very little of it is actual wrestling. There were other times were the announce team were doing on screen segments, that only a keen eye could spot - well I was at opposite side. But all in all its a very professionally ran show - as you would expect.

  6. Went with my 15 year old son, who has assumed the bug from me, and the show absolutely pishes all over the house shows that come twice a year. Awesome crowd reactions (when was the last time Roman didn't say anything?) - and even from the cheap(aye right) seats at the back, the view was excellent.

Noam Dar, Cesaro, Enzo and Bayley got massive reactions, and Owens and Y2J were superb on the mic - especially post show. Seth cant say Glasgow properly, and although it will look like a poorer show on TV - it definitely made a difference being there in person.

Cant see there being another tv taping being in Glasgow for a while, so will enjoy the show last night for what it was.

Whilst in general I agree with those sentiments, this situation is different. Unfortunately, if you take in a comparitively large sum of money (by the end of March), deliver a product months late, that is different from the original description, and give very little in the way of updates and explanation, then you can expect criticism. The fact that it is being organised by volunteers doesn't change that.

Throw in an email/website post which invites supporters to collect their tops, when actually only a limited number of sizes were available, then people are perfectly entitled to complain.

The whole situation has been a farce and goes completely against the positive moves that have been made on the pitch and in the community.

Situation is a farce - that doesn't mean to say those from the clubs point of view haven't done everything they possibly could. This is a problem entirely of the suppliers making, and having not got a top on Saturday and spoke to the club representative responsible, whilst more than aggrieved, I accepted his explanation that what he is getting back from the supplier in terms of communication but more importantly delivery is where the problem lies. Lies being the operative word, as what he is being assured is not what is being delivered - and finally Saturday's delivery was nowhere near what he was told was coming.

I'm not quite sure what else he or the club could do about this. One things for sure, I'm positive the manufacturer has done themselves no favours in getting our business again in the future.

  8. Lots of discussion on here about how Negan is such a bad guy.

Without taking things too seriously - is he? In that world, where normal behaviour has been replaced by survival methods - can it be argued that Rick started this all, and merely lost out to the better man in a cock measuring fight?

Not as childish an argument as "he started it" but lets be honest, Rick has a history of questionable leadership calls that have seen his "family" get killed(unfortunately not his real family Carl who we would all love to see :) )

In a fictional world now of no rules and survival of the fittest - Negan is actually demonstrating true leadership abilities and the harsh penalties of crossing him.

I certainly would feel safer in my chances of survival being one of the saviours than following Rick's motley crew.

PS - It may look as if I don't like Rick, or feel that Glenn or Abraham got what was coming - far from it - but abnormal circumstances in an abnormal word! Now where can I find the naughty rainbow youtube clip :)

What's people thinking about the briefing email that was sent out today?

Only surprise to me was the "other" group admitting to their attempt to sabotage any discussions with Shettleston, the rest speaks for itself, and is to me just a personal vandetta, that will do the people involved no favours or the club.

  10. Truth is the last week has seen two season ending injuries. I defy any team in this division to be able to cope with losing two first team players. Lowden is a big miss, but Easton is massive. Would Peterhead have got promoted without McAllister or East Fife without Austin? It can be argued that we have a less effective creative player in Flynn ready to step in, yet a more productive in terms of goals.

My opinion, is that we've started well, but to some not good enough, we're averaging over 2 and a half goals, but need a 20 goals a season striker.

Some will never be of the opinion that BF has what it takes, and will be first on here to tell us they told us so.

Now more than ever, and given what has happened to the previous league winners, we need to be there or thereabouts come January, to improve the squad, and somehow replace the undoubted quality we have lost this week.

I follow you on playing players out of position. Or reinvention, as Barry no doubt sees it; it has been a horrible habit of recent Clyde managers, all of whom have in common a lack of tangible success with the club. I can't follow you when you lay into Easton, mind. There is no show-boating in his game. There is bad decision making, yes. Plenty of it. But he wouldn't be a Clyde player otherwise.

The most profound injury we could've sustained is the one we just have: losing Easton for the season. He was our fulcrum. He is outstandingly the best player we have and without him, things being as they are, we'll do well to hold a play-off spot. With him, we might just have managed it. Albeit no more comfortably than last season.

There are a lot easy things one can say about how the team might benefit from Easton's loss. All those things will be rubbish, of course. To my memory, I was the first poster on this board to write with concern about Easton cramping Flynn's style; it was blatant from their very first game together. However, even if Flynn does come into his own, he isn't Easton and willing him to be won't make it so.

The sensible, hard-headed reaction to this injury is to abandon masochism. Get players playing in their strongest positions. That means having a proper left-back. And that has to be Scott Linton, I'm sorry to say. Whatever the price paid in midfield is - a heavy one. It means getting a proper right-back too. And that'll have to be McNeil or Oliver. Proper centre-halves (Smith, McNiff or Perry). McLaughlin and Flynn will have to run the engine room themselves. I don't see how. But it was a midfield lacking real ball-winning clout even with Easton. It'll be important that Phil Johnston, now a really important player, has an advanced role and isn't told he's a defender. He should be wide right where he belongs, being a permanent menace with his pace. And then I suppose we've just got to hope that Scott Ferguson's speed and fitness returns pronto; he and Johnston could go some way to compensating for the ball-carrying which Easton would do were he available. The return of JP McGovern can't come quick enough, of course. And god help us if Peter MacDonald gets injured...

The silly, ideological, hell-bent reaction to this injury is to say things like "I don't see why everyone is being so negative", and to bleat on about our home form: three wins from three. All of which came against teams who either performed abysmally or who look now to be set to prop up the top half of the table. And in which games, by the way, we conceded a total of six goals. Elgin have the best defensive record in the league. Only Edinburgh City and Cowden best ours as a bad one. Admittedly, only Forfar best our goals, but that was Clyde plus Dylan Easton; nine assists and two goals in all competitions this season from the wee man.

Loanees, free-agents... We need cover ASAP if we're to put this season back on the rails.

You really are full of shit, away back to champ manager 93 and spout your pish there.

I give up Easton is now a showboater and will barely be missed we might become a better team

Mind you coming from a support that voted to change the teams name (something that no other club in the world would do ) nothing surprises me

This coming from a supporter who obviously believes everything wee jobby gracey says.
