  1. not in a tizzy NJ2, its just a pain in the arse ( waiting for gif of Kenneth Williams) when a thread gets hijacked and goes to fu*k and you have to troll through pages that are not talking about the original thread, if you want to talk about washing dishes then start a thread. we have all seen new threads get fu**ed within hours by the usual hijackers.

  2. The wife is now retired at 55 as we have had our own business for years that i still work in, so yes mostly my dinner is ready when i get in, if its not and she has been out on the credit card spending our hard earned then we will just eat out and let someone else have the dilema of to dishwash or not, have been married for 27 years and if anyone got slapped it was me (rightly so) also we have spent the past 12 years on holiday in India (goa) so im not the rascist type, sorry to disapoint.

  3. I'm not desperate for her to go and stay at her mum's but once she's said "Im going," I've already planned out my next two hours. TV, bit of scran, maybe a beer. Me time.
Two hours later she hasn't moved. Don't tell me you're going until you are actually going.

This x 1000.  Similarly if she tells me she has plans for a Saturday with her mates in about 6 weeks time I am immediately planning my day.  Either a trip to the football or go see my mates, pub etc.  I'm not sitting around doing nothing just because she is out.  Our weekends tend to be spent together so it's rare to have a free day where I can do whatever I want.
If it's the other way round? She'll organise nothing and then complain about how bored she is in the house with nothing to do.  How could you not arrange a single thing in over a month?

^^^^^^^ This. Why cant she just go wben she said she was going to go ffs
  4. Not applicable to my line of work but you have my sympathies.
The guy that used to do our IT also built and repaired computers back in the day; he had a notice up that went something like:
    Repairs £20 an hour
If you watch £25 an hour
If you ask questions £30 an hour
If you offer advice £35 an hour....

Might just get the laminator out in the morning.

  5. The worst are the ones that tell you there's a problem, seem unable to explain what the problem is then fully fail to explain what actions they want you to take to rectify the problem.

I get the c**ts that before i have even said hello start telling me 'how to fix" the problem as they watched some other c*nt on youtube or c**nts that bring in a box of bits as they have taken the thing apart and dont know how to put it back again and are then supprised that it wont be free, some great customers, majority ok but some just do my fuc*ing head in. not barred/flung oot anyone for a while tho.
  6. No footy on today so stuck in Largs watching fu**ing rugby, anyway as this pub does a "are you watching the rugby/ usually football? " wristband thingy that is Scotland win you get a FREE pint i have gratefully recieved. Point is if Scotland do win your choice of winning pint is reserved to Tennants or What ever Heavy is on offer. My point is for all you Tennants afficiados out there i wont be taking up the offer so there is a free pint on your fav ale if you are kicking about Largs.

  7. Had a pint in the Avalon in Charing Cross on Thursday. Asked for the St Mungo (that's aff) ... then the IPA (that's aff)... it was a toss-up between that and Deuchars.
I went for a pint of Deuchars (cos I'm a dick like that). And it was easily the worst pint I've ever tasted. It was actually sweet, but had a taste of dust and stoor. It was truly awful. Had 2 sips and then someone fired on some Xmas music, so I turned and walked out.
Next time I'll just have a pint of T and be done with it.

Never lower your standards, just move to another pub there are plenty around you and maybe the reason all the good beers where out of stock is cos they are good beers and no cu*t in the west end drinks tinnants unless you are skint or a jakey.
  8. not a fan of santamas but kept up the family tradition of steak pie, home made including the puff pastry ( a day of spotify, loads of beer and every c*nt banned from the kitchen to make it so nice times) as had been said pigs in blankets is a must, like to brush a smigin of mustard over them and cover in black pepper just before they come out the oven, mash n roasts obv as for the rest not interested apart from the beer n the walnut whips.
