  1. Great result.

Craig Levein panting down the radio like a grief stricken hound - excellent to hear.

I've heavily criticised the pairing of Innis and Kasunga but they were good tonight. Especially Kasunga who had one of his Nesta-like games. He just has them dodgy moments too often and will probably do something silly on Saturday. Tonight though; brilliant. Innis still needs replaced but I'm not going to fault him tonight.

McGowan and Woods still isn't good enough but I thought the players around them made a difference. Dales, C.Curran and Nelson look like really hard workers and won balls that the likes of Moussa and Deacon never would.

Ralph was really good again - he's coming onto a game and looks a really good player.

We're a couple of signings away from being able to finish in tenth which would be more than good from McIntyre.

Well done tonight Dundee, but we need the same again on Saturday.

    Thank you.

McGowan in central midfield will not see us relegated - that’s a ridiculous statement given that he’s played there in every season previously and we’ve not been relegated. I agree that Woods and McGowan aren’t a good enough pairing, but to say that Paul McGowan would be to blame for us being relegated is nonsense.

Edited to say I 100% agree with your first post, though.

Ah okay, so we've played him in central midfield every other of the seasons of abject failure the past few years. Maybe people can use that to see his real worth.

The only position he can play to some sort of degree is behind the striker, even then his legs have gone and it's quite embarassing watching some of his play now.

    Thank you.

We've publicly stated that both him and the club want him to move on this month. He was never going to play yesterday as they're not going to want to cup tie him.

I agree he should play on Wednesday.

If McIntyre wants to move him on then he better have two centre midfielders lined up.

This keeping him un cup-tied is a lot of shite just spouted online.

He simply has to start on Wednesday if still employed by the club. McGowan in centre midfield will take us down.

    Thank you.

  4. Comical that Kamara can be getting off with not being on the pitch at the moment.

f**k this unsettled shit. He's not unsettled - he's signed a pre contract agreement to go to Rangers. Get him on the fucking pitch on Wednesday, we're paying his wages right now and we require him to play.

Clark isn't spouting this bullshit about Jones at Killie. Typical wishy washy Dundee. Get him on the fucking field or buy someone better to keep us up.

And sort out the centre of defence and right back immediately Dundee for fucksake.

    Thank you.

  5. We still need a winger, right back, centre back and centre midfielder if we're going to stay up.

Add another centre mid if Kamara goes. However, it seems like Gerrard has told Jones and Kamara to be professional and see out the end of their time this season. If that's the case I can't see any way either player would down tools knowing their future employers might be watching.

Kamara should start this Saturday alongside Woods. Simply because McGowan isn't good enough aswell in centre midfield. Either that or Give Madianga another chance - I don't think he was awful.

    Thank you.

We don't have an endless pit of money. We need 6 as it is and already brought in 3 if you include Woods.
Feel a left back would be silly when our right side of the pitch is so shambolic. Kerr can be out LB cover.
    Thank you.

agree with this. if ralph is out kerr can cover LB and curran drops back to RB. i think we still need another striker as well. we only have miller and curran plus the young lads and nows not the time to be experimenting with youth. need someone for the left wing imo. surprised we let c.miller go as we cant have been paying him much and he would have provided competition. thats why i think we have a loanee coming in from celtic. id take ralston, morgan or johnston.

We have Kallman, who definitely has something about him. I think he's fine as cover for upfront.

Curran is shambolic imo. Another player who has the odd game where he plays well which hides his usual pish. He should be a sub at best.

McIntyre seems to play a 4 4 2 and that would rule McGowan out as a centre midfielder aswell. If anyone possibly thinks McGowan has the attributes to be a starter in a 4 4 2 formation then it beggars belief.

    Thank you.

Would still say we need a LB in case Ralph gets injured.

    No LB?

    In short, no.

In long. Ralph has looked excellent  lately and he's one of two alongside Kenny Miller that can stay in the team going forward this season IMO.

Basically the rest of the whole team needs dismantled.

Kerr needs dropped, he's simply not good enough to be our number one right back and probably has never been. He could fill in now and again at left back (as before) if required though - he has a game or two in him where he looks like a proper player such as Rangers at home.

    Thank you.

I'm not sure how a central midfield with Woods and O'Brien would work.  They're both quite similar players IMO.

Curran has the technique of a part-time footballer but the fighting mentality of a Champions League winner.  In that sense I think he's better suited to a team ready to dog-fight at the bottom of the league, rather than lead the line of a team expected to dominate the division below.

You'd know all about dog-fights you backwards Highlander.

Genreally,  you have my deepeat sympathies

I like Curran but last season he was poor from the start of the season, this may be due to the manager at the time playing him as a lone striker when his pace had clearer gone and desperately needed someone to play alongside.

So he should be ok, as long as you don't have McIntyre.......oh.........awkward.

Keep your sympathies to yourself you foxhunting, Highland c**t. Your team are about as prestigious as a double yolked egg. Stick to the grooming of Highland cattle you glaikit old fool.

Kenny Miller would be played if we needed a lone striker aswell so your point is a pointless as your club.

K.Miller, Kallman and Curran is a good enough strike force to keep us up. The rest of the squad would be dwelling near the bottom of the championship.

    Thank you.

You’re a brave man suggesting that.  GMan and myself have been repeatedly shot down over the past year or so for suggesting this as well as his lack of pace and the fact he can’t shoot properly.

Apparently his strength is his determination and motivating players around him.

I personally expect far more from a midfielder.

I've said it since the days of him playing alongside Nick Ross in holding midfield.

Central in our team to season after season of shite.

It was always going to come to this, hopefully we can escape but we can have absolutely no complaints if we go down.

    Thank you.

Yer man Shankland "on the verge" of signing for Swansea.

Have to wonder what would've happened if you'd sold Caulker to Rosenborg and used the money to sign him and Stewart.

Very interesting. You're actually sitting in Perth on a Sunday wondering about a team you don't even support and what could've happened if they sold a player.

Think about that for a second. Deary me, you really are the biggest Songs of Praise fiend I've ever witnessed.
