Do we need another striker do you think?
If we stick with the 4-2-3-1 then we'd be looking like:
GK: Max / Barden
RB: Devlin / McMillan
RCB: Fitzwater
LCB: Parkes
LB: Longridge / Penrice
CM: Holt / Jacobs / Lewis / Obileye
AMC: Pittman / Sibbald
RW: Mullin / Kabia (although he has mainly played off the left)
LW: Forrest / Montana
ST: Anderson / Hamilton / Reilly
Not including - Schwake / Maley / Bartley / Pignatiello / Salim
Looks as though centre back is the priority and maybe a centre midfielder?

How are you guys looking for the season? Always had a soft spot for Brechin and hope you do well (apart from next Saturday!).
Will you have a team by then as I'm sure trialists are not allowed in the cup?

He done his cruciate ligaments at Ibrox. He should be back in September.
Cheers for that, shame as he was doing well.
Do you guys have a LB yet? Seem to have good options in wide areas, think you could go something like
Alnwick
Flynn - McCarthy - Shaughnessy - Tait
McAllister - Foley - Sheron - Durmus
Morias - Obika

Is Magennis injured? Always does well for you boys against us. What do you reckon your line up will look like next Saturday? Based on friendlies we could be going with a 3-5-1-1 that we used in spells last year

Is there a game today?

What has happened to Erskine? Always thought he was decent against us

What do you lads eat for lunch at work? I'm trying to not eat as much bread etc. I don't really have access to a microwave. Any suggestions?

Joe Hamill is terrible when he's played out wide but comfortably good enough for this level when he gets played in the middle of the park
He doesn't have that yard of pace or dribbling ability to get to the line and swing balls in but his passing and close control mean he's solid in the centre.
Don't judge him when he's played out wide, just cos he's got a left foot doesn't mean he is a flying left winger

Why does everyone rate MacDonald so highly? What has done to deserve it? 2nd division standard at best...

Not much to explain. I just don't rate the boy. He doesn't seem comfortable on the ball, poor distribution. Commits numerous fouls and most annoyingly in my eyes when he makes a mistake at the back he immediately turns to the manager and shouts that it was the other defenders faults to cover his own back. It's no coincidence in my eyes that when we went on a great run of conceding no goals he was nowhere to be seen

Anyway back to the football Ive heard that Livi are in talks with a boy Johnny Stewart who has just been released by Hearts? I know for a fact as well that Johnny Brown who played for Livi 2 seasons ago and the Albion last year is also training with us. I know Bollan has said we have players training just to allow them to maintain fitness but Brown is one i wouldnt mind seeing come in. would mean we could move Barr into the middle with Watson and have Brown and Talbot at fullbuck. The further away MacDonald is from the starting 11 the better IMO

Although I'd rather play McNulty than Deuchar.
Bench will be - Jamieson, Sinclair, McNulty, Scougall and Fordyce

I'm having serious concerns about us staying up. As it stands our team will be:
Bullock
C.Barr
McDonald
Watson
Talbot
Ke Jacobs
Ky Jacobs
Fox
B.Barr
Russell
Deuchar

Yeah the telling the time thing is a great thing to have. Always fancied a crack at that Neagley bird he knows... He always manages to get the women does Jack.

Yeah he doesnt seem like someone that would be a great laugh down the pub but his ability to sniff out a clue or break in an investigation is second to none. Hell of a headbutt on him as well..

I just recently started reading a series of Lee Childs novels where a Jack Reacher is the main character. Really enjoyed them, although the storylines are far fetched at times th ewriting and twists are good. just wondering if anyone else had read them and had any thoughts/opinions on the books..?

What was your starting team today? A very strong United team by the looks of it!
