Used to sit down the front of the South Stand with my pal and ticklemafeet would spend the whole game facing us instead of the pitch and would dare us to take our shoes off... even tried to bribe us with a free Mars bar after we refused. We thought it was hilarious at the time but looking back it actually makes me feel quite sick to be honest.

Yeah. I've never liked Mars Bars either.

  2. I don't think Smith wanted to make wholesale changes as I still think the side looks a bit disjointed and inconsistent. It's almost as if he thinks the more they key men play together, the more they will click.

In pre season, in the Dunfermline and Buckie games, we showed what we can do when it goes right. For some reason, we haven't been able to replicate that form in the other games. I think Smith wants to keep trying with the same players to get it right.

The best way to deal with it (doubt it will be the way they do)

But you contact the supporter directly, meet with them and come up with some sort of pass and maybe a covering letter from the club explaining that the child has a medical condition and needs the juice.

Even stick a footnote on it for the stewards saying to contact the office if they have any queries about it.

10-20% discount for the club shop as a goodwill gesture and maybe a statement on the clubs website asking fans in the same situation to contact the club and put a plan in place (the card/letter) to prevent this happening again.

As i say, that's what i would do, the club though...

Just to play devils advocate, I don't think the club can be blamed for this. Not allowing plastic bottles into a ground is probably a police rule that the club won't have any say over. You only have to look at what happened at Linfield to see that there are morons out there that'll throw stuff. I'd imagine getting hit in the face with a full bottle of fruit shoot would be pretty sore.

  4. Was it the whole of Fife's Finest who were abusing a disabled fan or an individual?

I remember, 20 odd years ago, joining in choruses of 'I'd rather be a paki than a par' and thinking it was hilarious. Looking back now, it makes me cringe. I can only hope whoever was involved yesterday grows up and looks back on it in disgust.

I blame the Astro pitches we train on at the Mick Wids

We do the majority of our training on the full size grass pitch. They only use the Astro when the grass is unplayable. Can we really blame Astro in this day and age for injurys? I doubt there's many clubs/players out there who don't regularly play or train on the stuff.
