Just watched the highlights. Morton just looked like a bunch of complete thugs every time we played them.
Fixed that for you

Watch the highlights, there's clearly ballboys on the trackside and behind the goals in the 2nd half before you equalised.
Video would certainly show them present but I have a distinct recollection of players retrieving balls & general slowness of ball return in that period remember commenting on it at the time which then disappeared after we scored and a general sense of balls being pinged back with urgency again commented at that time. They may have been standing in their positions but not being used, however this does not detract from the results. The initial comment was more about calling out Rae time wasting which is no worse & indeed much better than some in this league (Morton in particular). and all teams indulge in gamesmanship from time to time.

Looking at the RaithTV highlights from that game that is simply not true.
I was there , there were no ballboys trackside certainly from start of second half till we scored it was very noticeable

It was Dunfermline who forgot to send the ball boys out for the second half against Airdrie at East End Park a few years ago
Raith did it up at Starks after Smith scored until we equalised

Airdrie ok…Raith awful.
Minor point!Airdrie allowed unacceptable amount of time to take every set piece. Still wouldn’t have made a difference.
Once again a team that takes the ballboys in at home when going 1 up can have no justified complaints on gamesmanship.

Anyone else have the corner pet hate that most teams leaves a player up against us but we never do it against the opposition? I know we’ve been doing it for years but surely at some point we’ve to do it it’s no like Mullin or Vaughan are aerial threats or that so if some likes them stays up incase of dodgey bounce/clearance could cause problems
Never going to happen under Murray I can count on one hand the amount of times he did it in the 4 years at us, was a constant frustration with much of our support

Could get toxic very quickly if Airdrie get a quick goal.
We really don't do quick or goals so much either

No complaints with the time wasting from an Airdrie perspective it’s what clever teams do but feel like there should have been more added time from the ref. Doubt it would have made any difference though.
Rightly so considering you withdrew the ball boys up until we scored after going ahead

Our forwards are really struggling to find the net and are possibly the only weak link in our team. It’s not that we can’t create chances, we just can finish them.
With the exception of Gal who is now on 6 despite less service, if that were repeated or bettered in the next 3 quarters as per last season then a reasonable return for our part time striker. The problem is the others Gabby & Frizz nowhere near the races at the moment, will McGregor / Aiken / Magic make the same contribution of Justin / Smith from last season hopefully we can improve in these areas in the coming weeks as per last season.

Why should a reserve game red mean a ban for the next first team game and not the next reserve game, if this was the case it should work the other way & the Frizz red would have been served by the reserve game which clearly doesn't happen.

Celtic youth keeper touted at one point as being on loan last season (prior to Lyness I think) but fell through so would make sense if it was him.

Funny how people see the game differently a few around me would have Aiken as one of if not the contender for MOM thought the boy did great today especially the clear out at the end where he took the ball down the park to safety to see the game out earning applause from the gaffer. ATS, Ballantyne & Rae all did really well today in keeping Dundee quiet. Dycey was solid as was the gaffer other than the odd misplaced pass. McGregor & Gal worked their socks off with little time to create & a good few knocks all in all an effective team performance.

You would presume that if Stranraer reserves got to or near League 2 then they would be candidates for the first team & the best players would be removed thus keeping them at a level. Rangers & Celtic B however could reach bottom 6 of Premiership ( possibly even top 6 ) before that would become an issue for the first team unless specifically forbidden. Once that happens do we see C teams / D Teams a Premership with 2/3/4/5 clubs where does it stop.

For what it's worth I thought Kurtis Roberts was/is a totally underrated player. It was a logical and justified signing at the time, for whatever reason he wasn't fancied and ultimately struggled with fitness issues. I genuinely wouldn't slam the door on him as a squad player even now.
Aye right enough that free kick to nobody our home game & similar pass to nobody in the 1-5 drubbing really made me think oh I wish he was still with us

Looks like Ian Murray is heading to Dundee so that might change the situation a bit. If he fancied any of our players for Raith would he think any of them capable of stepping up to Premiership level?
Would bet Easton & Smith join him there

Its been years since we played Airdrie, do they still do the thing where they dress up in white hoods for a bit of banter? Are they all still hardcore Unionists?
We played you in the League Cup walloper

Lucky progress are you having a laugh here. The one thing about our progress after you're old side died certainly didn't involve much in the way of good luck. That was the only break we had .
Luck in that you got Coyle & Gow and stayed in the league, misfortune for us. Luck that the Premier relaxed the 10,000 seater rule. That kind of luck.

Let’s see how cocky you c***s are at 7.30 on Saturday night
We unlike Falkirk are well aware of our limitations & will take nothing for granted this week. Not cockiness facts dear boy. The younger among you will not remember the Falkirk saved from relegation to the third tier and subsequent somewhat lucky progress that followed in the following years. It wasn't so very long ago that you were comparable to Ayr, Airdrie and some of these 'wee' clubs.

It’s funny to see how much Falkirk lives in the heads of fans of Airdrie, Ayr etc. Average Falkirk is pushing for promotion to the premiership. So yes, Average Falkirk hammers Airdrie.
Except that wasn't an average Falkirk, that was a Falkirk who were in a scottish cup Semi, that was going to win the league start of the season & a few weeks ago, that was the best you had and you got not only stuffed in the first leg but had no plan B / pride or fight in the second , its a Falkirk who have now pinned their hopes on a strike force signed from the teams that finished 8th & 9th, a Falkirk that thinks crowd size & number of corners means you are world beaters & are automatically gain promotion, we laugh at your overinflated views and pity you. You couldn't beat us once in the unfinished stadium, have won against us less times than we have beaten you in L1 & scored less goals overall than us in all meetings since coming to L1. Pies are good though. I would be worried about whether you can afford yet another season in League one not what we think.

Not sure how they are deciding 'worst'. We beat Edinburgh 4-1 as well as 3-0. We also beat Montrose 4-0 which given we are lower than them in the league, unlike Airdrie, is a worse result.
And we lost 5-2 at Falkirk although certainly getting hammered by Clyde is worse.
Yours against Montrose was at home for you ours was up at Montrose so I guess home defeat worse for them.

Would be good to see Euan & Cammy as Wingbacks with either 3 CBs or 2 plus Rhys.
Rae
Janny/Rhys Dycey ATS
Cammy Euan
McMaster/Stanway
Gabby/Justin Frizz/Telfer Smith/McGregor
Gal/Sal
Think the whole point is ATS not available
