  1. Aye, something more substantial than Alex Salmond turning up and trying to wing it in a debate against Alistair Darling is going to be required. If Yes hasn't learned anything from 2014, then they deserve to lose again. I'd like to think that they've been working on what will be the main sticking points in preparation and have the short, easy to understand for the layman, answers to key stuff like currency, pensions and so on. No one will be looking for 50 year macro economic plans except weirdo yoons like Kevin Hague who are never voting for you regardless.
  2. Beef2711 v AH13STU ends in draw by agreement. Tough game (as they all are at this level), neither player had any real discernable advantage throughout and with 4 pawns, a knight and a rook each left, a draw was offered and accepted.
  3. The UK still has a handful of stolen overseas territories it can use for it's lebensraum. Disappointed that some posters would openly flaunt international law and disrespect the territorial integrity of the future Scottish republic though.
  4. **Fantasy Golf Week 18** Guess who's back ? With major season in full swing, a timely return to form for Rory McIlroy must have made at least one old man very happy. Granted it was at his favourite course, but he never missed a putt under 6ft all week and his work with a new swing coach is paying dividends, taking the DJ approach and just blocking out one half of the course. He's now firm favourite for next week's USPGA. South Africans appear to be on their greatest sporting winning streak since Oscar Pistorious grabbed a handful of gold medals, let's just hope no ones girlfriend gets mistaken for a burglar trying to loot a European Tour trophy. Garrick Higgo appears to be an unstoppable winning machine and is now up to 51st in the world. Thoughts and prayers for @Tartan Dave who transferred Higgo out before the Masters and has now missed out on 124 points and counting. Overall standings 871 @J_Stewart 848 @die hard doonhamer 796 @alta-pete 792 @Tartan Dave 761 @Mr Kane and the lemon cafe 760 @Ro Sham Bo 731 @lichtie23 721 @peasy23 692 @Henderson to deliver ..... 658 @Distant Doonhamer 529 @Honest_Man#1 @Distant Doonhamer the only man to have Rory in his team, makes a move to the top of the mini league standings. The Race to Whistling Straits 262 @Distant Doonhamer 236 @peasy23 230 @Ro Sham Bo 206 @Tartan Dave 206 @die hard doonhamer 200 @J_Stewart 166 @alta-pete 162 @lichtie23 134 @Henderson to deliver ..... 126 @Honest_Man#1 96 @Mr Kane and the lemon cafe Before we get all excited for the years 2nd major, we have a half decent looking week of golf 1st. The Betfred British Masters hosted by Danny Willett takes place at the Brabazon course at the Belfry. The course needs no introduction, host of numerous tour events and 4 unforgettable Ryder Cups. A touch overrated because of this, it probably wouldn't make the top 20 UK parkland courses, although it probably has more water than any other UK inland venue. Our very own Boab MacIntyre is the bookies favourite. The PGA Tour warms up for it's flagship event next week with the AT&T Byron Nelson named of course after one of the all time greats. TPC Craig Ranch in Texas is the venue, decent field as there's quite a few based in Texas. The course, a Tom Weiskopf design isn't anything special, known more for the excellent TPC facilities here. This will be a doddle, a nice easy warm up before next week, winning score between 25 and 30 under imo. Also, please restrain yourself from launching something at your TV after hearing the commentators pronounce Craig as Kregg for the hundredth time. Stoopid muricans.
  5. Hearing that Craig Murray has been renditioned and is now in solitary confinement in a maximum security facility in an unknown location.
  6. Batley and Spen sounds like some 80's pop duo who had a couple of hits and wrre pretty cool, but are now just massive Tories and anti vaxers.
  7. Unsure if you mean me, Murray, Bannon or Mensch here. I'm just going to go ahead and assume it's me. I have lost a bit of weight recently, genuinely flattered thank you x
  8. My sources say the death penalty, for espionage, being considered for Craig Murray. I am pro life and take no pleasure in reporting this.
  9. It's not about voter fraud, which is so vanishingly rare that it doesn't really require this. It's not about ID cards, which would be pretty unpopular with Tory voters. It's about voter suppression and alongside some gerrymandering, closing the back door to ensure that something like 2017, when an unexpectedly large number of young people rushed the polling booths and denied the Tories a majority, never happens again. With many minorities and the young either unable to afford expensive ID, or unwilling to be registered in such a way, it paves the way for our silly little island's blood spitting, spite fuelled boomers and pensioners to vote in endless Tory governments.
  10. Class has nothing to do with where you went to school ?
  11. Who could have forseen that giving this odious piece of shit the time of day would eventually backfire so spectacularly.
  12. My copy of the manifesto was just 24 pages of this photo.
  13. First they came for the unhinged conspiracy theorists who were identifying complainants in sexual assault cases and I did not speak out, for I was not an unhinged conspiracy theorist identifying complainants in sexual assault cases.
  14. There is an element of people needing to be more careful in where they mark their X, but for me, it's a blatant attempt to mislead voters and a rather desperate attempt to prevent a pro independence majority in the parliament. That it got cleared by the electoral commission is baffling.
  15. The BNP manifesto usually contains stuff like public ownership, an elected 2nd chamber, a 'bill of rights', a mass public housing building programme and so on. I certainly wouldn't be voting for them though.
  16. Is this the replacement for wullie with all previous fixtures void ?
  17. Some amount of cope on here from the Alba lads tbh.
  18. Single issue party ? Deeply unpopular leader ? Dubious views on other issues ? Seems a good match to me.
  19. Less votes than UKIP won in the 2016 elections. Just let that sink in.
  20. Some folk only like to play one game at a time too, which is fair enough. I've usually got a few on the go, but it's easy to get sloppy. Played a guy the other day who had over 80 daily games on the go at once.
  21. It's your move m8. But aye, games last a lot longer in Div A. Some weeks I was done both my games by Saturday night last season. Suppose most folk returning to work will make a difference. I've been off last 3 days so have been doing plenty of analysing.
  22. I wouldn't write it off tbh. Although I admit it's possible that the guy is genuinely that thick, or hasn't read or heard on one of the many hundreds, or quite possibly thousands of occasions that it's been mentioned, that the SNP favour a 2nd refetendum. There's a possibility the person tweeting it isn't on the level either imo.
