We were 7 players missing and played nearly the whole second half with 10 men , they really should be better

Well don't sign players who need to work, and not "walk away" and players should try to stay ON the park

  2. What rules ...of signed players playing amateur when you are a "pro" then come on  and score the winner I don't know the law but looks hooky to me. So Calvin tells the amateur team I can play because I have left Darvel , plays for  an amateur team then comes back to the fold at Darvel and plays in a Scottish Cup game unless of course he signed amateur for Darvel

Calvin still in the squad- scored a vital goal to take 4-1 lead on Saturday when it mattered most. Really pleased to see him getting a goal - really likeable lad

But did he leave Darvel at one time ,obviously he was playing on Saturday   I know he is a nice guy he is just KD

totally blew it yesterday 4-2 up and fell to bits defensively, played some really good football at times during the game but we make silly mistakes and give away the daftest goals ever , we need to learn an wise up quickly, this pattern of we'l score more than u doesn't always work as yesterday proved so painfully emoji849.pngemoji24.png

Barbours goal a peach from 22 yards, Gemmells ( easily the biggest man on the park) a bullet header and Stevensons a 25 yard rocket "daftest goals ever" were not that where I was watching.

Good game for a neutral,Troon just edging it ,like Krfc said shocking defending, why did they take off their No11,he ran the Troon defence ragged, maybe being up 4-2 they thought the game was won

Shocking defending Barbours goal was a cracker and maybe 20/25 yards from goal, Gemmell easily the biggest man on the park bullets a header, Stevenson scored with a rocket 25 yards from goal. First goal defender possibly could have got to the ball before before Keenan 5th goal Pooler outstripped 2 defenders and slid the ball into the net. Possibly 1 and 5 could have stopped but the other 3 could not imo

Michael Kelly who was behind it all was not there to do Pollok any favours. It was considered in detail by the committee under professional advice and was rejected on that basis.

Yes it was Kelly they wanted the garage the cooperage and Newlandsfield. The problem was the Club was a goldmine and they thought some people would not have went in the same numbers to the new club in such a "tough area" ie  behind the Orange Club in the Shaws.

Yes they did-by a private developer who would have sold the club very short.

A new park and( I seen the plans) and a new social club and £750,000 in their bank would have made the club very short    Nonsense

Fantastic to have a charity do all of that for the club.New ground and set up provided at short notice-wish we had charities of that type in Glasgow!

I am not a Buffs man I am a Medda supporter and well done Buffs they had to get out of Abbey Park it was a poor ground and would have get worst. Pollok were offered £750,000 and a new ground and a new club moved into Pollokshaws  Pollok refused the offer in the 70s

Apart from the penalty (well over the bar) a cross that hit the post and a 1-1 in the first half what saves did Johnson have? The Glens keeper made a great save from Stevenson, Pooler missed 2 good chances, Montgomery missed an easy chance and so did the young sub.

Is that not what I said ?

Sorry read it completely wrong you are correct

Yes we probably were, but we didn't create enough clear chances despite the pressure we had. Garry Whyte had very little to do in the game, but the same can be said for Scott Johnstone at the other end.

It was a really poor game of football, to be honest.
