Oliver so much better in midfield. Coll getting better game by game. Nesbitt playing well. Whole team clicking, round of 16, top of the league. Great time to be a Bairn

This is still a terrible time overall to be a bairn but I get what you are saying. It's certainly good for us in L1 terms and a whole heap better than the last few seasons.

I always thought amarillo was sung by the local band 'lieutenant stardust'  in Elliotts and it sort of got adopted by the fans that way, I've been going to games since the early 90s and it's always been there in the background since then

Stardust did it cos it was sung in Elliots for years beforehand. Certainly from the mid 80s if not beforehand.

I was the Policeman that played in goals that day, at the time I was the community Policeman for Camelon. Sure it was Brian McGinlay that refereed us that day and I remember he kept penalising me for bouncing the ball. Did you guys not all have dyed hair that day. A few months later Simon turned up at the Police Burns Supper in full Highland dress. It was held in Grangemouth town hall. Managed a chat with God that night and he signed my program with “To Big Al, the best player I have ever played with”. As you say a great guy and one of my highlights too.

Brilliant! From P&B, Mr Dust and I were also in the team. We had our hair died ginger as a tribute to Houstie..

What doesn’t help “actual” attendances this season is the fact you can watch from the house/pub still. Hopefully that’s done with for next season & the only way to watch is at the stadium unless by exception.

I would guess, assuming we are still in L1, ST sales will be down on this year BUT should a winning side be on the park, crowds will come back again, as they always do.

The last season at Brockville, ST sales initially weren’t great due to the previous “relegation/non relegation” but as soon as a decent squad was built the crowds came back.

The world has moved on. Clubs are now getting money from away fans who otherwise would not attend. Home fans who stream have paid already.

  5. To all the Falkirk fans I salute your ability to appear both aloof and loyal during these difficult times.
Aye right, get it right f*ckin up yeez 🤣🤣
I hope you're inhaling the Pars vapour trail for years to come.
One of thee most unpopular clubs in Scotland.

Thanks pal! I’m a little upset you say we are unpopular because popularity is really important to us.
