  1. Not a massive fan of EK, but I hope they win the play off. Yes money has bought success for them, but not a believer in Stranraer getting a 2nd chance of survival.

The pyramid needs to flow, clubs will find themselves at the correct level eventually.

The LL will be a good competitive league in 4-5 years once the dross is relegated. B Teams are done, and we are faced with a league of ex SPFL clubs and ex Junior clubs.

I know it's not a new thing. Just wondering how long they can sustain it if they don't get into league 2.

Interesting question that I have been looking for the answer myself. Been very close to promotion in recent years, how long can this be sustained without getting into league 2?

I feel if they go up this season, they could potentially end up challenging to get into league 1.

    If they fail….who knows?

  3. Me and my mate have just been extremely lucky. Got an email from the ticket swap (Scottish Coefficient) to say we have a swap.

England Denmark for Scotland Switzerland . Absolute buzzing!!

Thought our chances were done, but remain positive as you never know!

I wouldn't hold out too much hope, you don't many Scotland tickets on offer..

Yeah just seen that mate, will chance my luck.

Worst case scenario will be sell my England tickets on stubhub for a similar price to what I will need to buy my Scotland ones for.

No, but bear in mind you'll have more opportunities to sell them for face value on the official resale hub, worked fine for me the other week.

We signed up to the Scotland co-efficient page to see if we could get a swap for the England tickets in return for Scotland. But no joy yet!  Will struggle to get a straight swap. If we sell the England tickets, our chances are even slimmer of getting Scotland tickets

  6. I have decided to bite the bullet. I have not managed to get tickets for the Scotland - Switzerland game in any of the ballots.

So we are going to use live football tickets to get them. Over £400, but in my generation these opportunities don’t come around very often!

I have 2x England - Denmark tickets that we got in the ballot.  I was considering selling these on stub hub to try and soften the blow a bit for the Scotland tickets.

Has anyone ever used one of these selling platforms to get rid of tickets?

Don't normally take the bait. Outrageous scurrilous accusation.

I can guarantee we might lose points on the pitch  but we will never ever trip up off the pitch. We have a 100% backroom team good as or  better than anyone in Scottish Football.

They must be the busiest back room team in Scottish football with the amount of players going in and out. Must spend some amount of money on stationery as well as players!

I'm kicked out after 30 mins of being unable to add anything to my basket for any game. Fckn joke

Exact same,  only ticket I got in my basket was the opening game against Germany, 900 Euros prime seat.  Kept it in my basket, and kept refreshing for the Swizterland game. But no joy

I think most people realise Athletic play some high scoring high tempo direct football so it’s a good watch. They absolutely destroyed us (twice in the first half) but it’s comes because they are playing way below their level.

Winning comfortably every week with every player fresh means they have it in them to take down a higher league team with that one game each month being their cup final.

With around 100 fans it’ll be interesting to see where they settle. I’d suggest it’ll be bottom half of the East Premier or top of First Division. It’ll get a lot harder playing a higher level week in week out.

Fair play they’ve freshened things but surely only a matter of time until they need to have a conversation with BU and merge. Bo’ness as a town could have a league 2 side/ league 1 yo-yo, so any division can’t be a good thing.

Did they not used to be called Linlithgow at Ammy level? Bizarre that they changed name when joining EOS.

They have some good players, signed a player from the Rose during the week. I assume they have some sort of financial backing from somewhere?
