I'm going to put this out their
Rankin is he stealing a starting place ahead of others
Can he be dropped ?
I think he needs to be, what does he do in a match, with all this so called experience he has, he rarely wins a tackle his distribution is not great.
The worst thing is he has no legs for a whole match, the pace of the game on Saturday showed this all day.
He went into the middle on Saturday and at the expense of Grant, the best passer of the ball we have in their.
Its time to drop him

Does the loan market end today as well?. If not then we will take a few weeks to get the right people in. Poss need to shuffle a few out first

But that's kind of the point JS, Love shouldn't be but is filling in there. His natural position is wider, and we've also guys like Lamont and McStay playing out there.
Our system is one up, with a new striker possibly the option of two. Neither usually includes traditional 'wingers' especially with fullbacks pushing on. We've plenty options out wide, the priority is at least one recognised striker
I'd also like a centre half with higher level experience to help organise and also bring on the younger lads, but with our budget that would probably be unrealistic
Put your hand the your pocket then

God help us if we lose on Saturday, sack the management team and the chairman and lets bring back the savour for the foot soldiers Alexlier

If you think that the clubs stance on Goodwillie and Love doesn't put people off then you are deluded.
Sorry if it feels like nitpicking but I guess I'm just fed up with money going to the community instead of players. I know they do good work but at the end of the day I just want to see a winning team on the park and money makes that much more likely. I genuinely couldn't care less about Football Memories or mental health teams. Just get us out the league.
A lot of assumptions quoted their FS. The sponsorship we have received might be the best deal financially for the club we received. Do you know the amounts we received?. Are you aware of a better deal we turned down?.
The DGW and Love assumption you have made, is an assumption unless you are involved in the sponsorship dealings.
Lets be honest at our level you cant demand a big sponsorship deal.
The Chairman has once again has put money into the club and attracted someone else to continue with a sponsorship. He is a businessman and wont have accepted a fee that wasn't good for the club.
I think its time you get behind the new wave that's happening at the club, look at the positives and yes we all want out of the league including the chairman.
If you want to know the amounts and you are an owner, I'm sure you can find out

No way a club like us, could possibly get a kit from these two big brands. Wait a minute JA has left the building. Anything is possible now

You think someone like SSB makes a decision based on what he reads on P&B, you serious?
Tell you what's frankly embarrassing, describing the last 6 years as a "bit of a rut". But OK, put the counter argument, tell us about all the positives surrounding our club right now - the platform's yours, go for it.
To answer MDC's post. When we've made the playoffs previously, we just about scraped into them. This season the midfield's improved, even the one available to him now. Before Lowdon & Easton were injured we were shipping too many goals. That tightened up for a while but it's gone backwards. Unless that improves and quickly, it'll be a major task trying to scrape in again. We'll also need to hope Peaso stays fit & in form, because if something happens to him, don't know where all the goals are going to come from.
So of course it's possible, but not if the form stays as it is. There's plenty effort but it doesn't help when the manager plays people out of position or singles them out for public criticism. f**k's he thinking?
no need for bad language

I really do think the club is at a breaking point just now, it has been dying a slow death for a number of years now. I suspect the manager will quit this month as we will fall out of the play off places and out of the cup.
As many on here have said in the past the club has no vision and no direction.
I do honestly feel that we could easily fall out of the league this year.

More and more people are just feed up, with how the club is run, and the awful team you have to watch each week.

He is still under pressure as he needs to gain promotion this year.
