  1. That dick from AVFTT had us finishing 9th last night and getting beat from Airdrie in the playoff. He may be right though...
  2. I am going for a stout Ayr win here because the alternative is too depressing to think about.
  3. Still fine margins between the three of us, Pars looking good for 8th at the moment but I expect the merry go round to change on a weekly basis. I expect the rush is on for all of us to secure as many points as possible before we all play each other in the last couple of weeks. none of us want to be going into them being six pointer games.
  4. Really, I couldn't call it between the three of us who finishes 8th, 9th and 10th. Looks like the penny may have dropped now for the Pars, and QOS have been in this position before so have the experience from last season. No idea what to make of us tbh, are we all in denial about our current position or are we actually better than thought and able to put together a couple of wins. If we go into the Pars game still in the shit then I don't fancy our chances at all.
  5. Yip he gets a fair share of the blame too if we go down, although not quite as much as the others
  6. don't think he's ever stayed at a club for more than one season, doubt he's gonna break that run for Ayr.
  7. Part time though, and pretty obvious McCall set out to from the beginning..not lose games and hopefully just squeak past staying in the league. Should have turned full time that season regardless of the logistics
  8. 4 of our 6 games left are against bottom half table teams. 3 home. If we someone find ourselves bottom 2 with that run in it's a massive failure from everyone involved. I think we prob will have just enough for 8th, but wouldn't put money on it. A Partick win on Tuesday would be huge for us
  9. I expect we'll squeak out an unexpected win from somewhere but I haven't really seen much from this team, certainly not in the last two games, to be confident that they've got it in them to win a relegation scrap. Bullen's tactics at times certainly don't help, how much of that is his fault with the squad he's got I'm not sure. All for giving youth a chance but when you're scrapping for points they don't have the experience or build to deal with that, not their fault.
  10. Firmly In the hoping QOS and Dunfermline just continue to be a little more shit than us to avoid relegation camp.
  11. Point a decent result for us tonight but not keen on how the Pars rallied at the end. Stage of the season desperation has set in and expect to see a lot of this now, teams fighting for points.
  12. Gonna be bold here and go for a strong, dominant Ayr win...
  13. It's really something, that I still can't wrap my head around, that the team could, in a Friday night game on tv, at home against your rivals, with that type of crowd, put in that type of performance the first twenty minutes. Shades of the Kerr era cause I can remember a few times under him conceding a goal then a couple others straight (almost)after. Baffling.
  14. Maybe more than that I think, we've got the Pars away on the 16th April, then QOS away the following week. If we could secure safety in those 4 games leading upto that it would be good. Really don't want to be heading into that Pars game with relegation still a possibility.
  15. Hopefully we get away with it this weekend and results go our way, no need to further compound the misery.
