  1. If yesterday wasn't a low enough point to punt him what is it going to take in the next 4 games, where no one is expecting us to take anything from them? Double figures loss? A riot inside Somerset? Only prolonging the inevitable at this point, and it isn't just the results, it is clear the players have chucked it too and that only ends one way.
  2. I shall be attending, not through any hope that we could get anything but just to observe how bad things get and how toxic it turns. Zannatta to score obviously and McGinty to chuck one in, obviously.
  3. So out of the last 4 games we were looking at as must wins, all teams around us, we have managed to accumulate 2 points out of 12. We know go into a run of 4 games against teams all at the top end of the table, which everyone will agree we will get spanked in. That takes us up to the 15th of Jan when we have Morton, Hamilton and Dunfermline. Really need new signings in early and for them to hit the ground running. Only hope is that by the time of the Morton game we are not cut adrift and still in the hunt....to not be relegated. If these last 4 games have been about damage limitation for Duffy, f**k knows what he's got planned for the next 4.
  4. Another frustration,Callum throwing soft ball pitches at him in the interview. At some point it has to be addressed.
  5. I suspect his post match interview will just compound the misery. Another pumping in front of a home crowd on Sunday should hopefully put an end to this if today hasn't. The thought of giving him money to spend in January is bordering on neglect.
  6. How long until we starting pitching the line that it wouldn't be such a bad thing to get relegated. Allows us to reset, clear out the squad etc...
  7. Biggest indictment of this team will be that QOS will come out for the second half and just coast it while we are running about like dafties creating nothing
  8. Queen of the South boss wants supporters' backing in derby clash with Ayr United Queen of the South boss Allan Johnston has urged supporters to back their side in one of the most important derbies in recent years. He said: “It’s a derby, so you want as many fans as possible to get behind us. “It’s a derby game and they’re always a bit special. We’re playing against teams around about us the next few weeks.
  9. Could see Duffy taking the cream puff if he wants a bunch of players that Mathie just says yeah...no, to. Only one winner out of that.
  10. "has been charged with revamping Ayr off the park." And on hopefully. “He will manage the overall club on a day-to-day basis and provide us with an invaluable amount of leadership and experience.” Head honcho now sounds like.
  11. If a new manager and signings are now out of Smith's and Duffy's hands then surely this is a good appointment so props to Smith for that.
  12. Going for an Ayr win here to lull us into a false sense of security before a run of 4 consecutive defeats. Merry Xmas!
  13. Would suit us no? Do you really want to be allowing Duffy to throw about one and two year deals?
  14. Or just around us within touching distance, same with QOS and Morton.
  15. On the bright side, Hamilton still look utter dross and don't look like improving much so should have that safety net for a while. Hopefully same applies for QOS next week too.
  16. Agree with Maxwell, he's putting the other seasoned pros to shame this season.
  17. So so many wasted chances, at least that's tonights excuse lined up. 3 points were vital for us.
  18. Amazing how we've yet again came out for the second half full of beans. Rinse and repeat.
