I'm looking forward to seeing McGinty to see what all the hype is about. McKenzie too, hopefully he can kick it up a notch. Really not expecting much this season so it would take something really special to come out of it disappointed
I think we're past the chance of getting a WoW signing at this stage, as long as the squad isn't padded out with glue factory candidates we can settle in for a season of bland not much of anything to get excited about. with the defence sorted early and Duffy presumably organising it surely to God we will be difficult to score against. If we fail on that score we really will be in bother
If this ends up dragging on for much longer, in terms of getting a forward in, then we know how it will end up, considering how many seasons we have been in this position before
Duffy and Hopkin have form for this type of thing do they not, and it didn't exactly have a happy ending for them.
The fact QOS are also doing it just makes it seem worse
Between Hopkin and Duffy the experience they have between them they should not have a club anywhere near the bottom of the table regardless (almost) of what squad they have.
If they do they should both pack it in.
I am looking forward to Hoppy's next interview though and finding out what the aim for the season is.
Can't say I know much about McGinty, but I'm not sure I've seen a player so widely derided by so many different set of fans on here as him. Universal agreement on P & B is a worrying sign though
