  1. My parents and in laws both live nearby. Missus works 2 days a week, so on those days they each come round and walk the dog. He is never really on his own for more than about 3 hours during the day. Sleeps in the kitchen at night.
  2. D'oh. Decent WR group for the Texans, especially if Fuller can stay healthy. They may be able to block for Watson for the first time ever.
  3. Pats cut Hoyer and Packers cut Kizer. So could be interesting if their main QBs get injured. Doctson and Treadwell both cut. Imagine someone will pick up Doctson though. Chiefs have added LeSean McCoy and Carlos Hyde. They're gonna have as many RBs as the Eagles.
  4. Hoping that released players Horstead TE and Duck CB, land on out Practice Squad. Tyler Bray QB was released, not sure if he's eligible for the PS.
  5. Clowney traded to the Seahawks for a 3rd Round Pick, plus Mingo and another player. Seems a good deal for the Hawks. LeSean McCoy released by the Bills. Bound to be more high profile cuts in the next hour.
  6. Week 1 - Seahawks and Eagles please
  7. Had our dog dine and he was calmer afterwards. Takes a while for the testosterone levels to go completely down about 6 months.
  8. Think I will pick my Fantasy team on Sunday or Monday, once the teams have been pretty much finalised on Saturday night. Sundays are nearly back!
  9. Dreadful draw, with all the 'big six' getting easy draws. Makes you wonder if they have started warming the balls up like they do in the Scottish Cups ;-)
  10. Villa through with a 6-1 win in spite of making 10 changes. Already further than we've gotten in the League Cup for years.
  11. Yeah, I thought it was a penalty on first viewing, but he definitely goes away from the ball and over Lascelles, to make it look worse than it was.
  12. Just turned Sky Sports on to see Luck crying and thought 'Sh*t, he must have retired'. Why can't it be Rodgers or Brady instead?
  13. It's a decent ground, have been there a few times. 10 minute walk from Birmingham International train station or airport.
  14. Would be nice to see them go up. Walsall would have an actual proper local derby, rather than all the other teams in the West Midlands who hope they do well and that they hate because of it.
  15. It's that awkward time of year when I want to see who is getting cut/making rosters; but also don't want to spoil Hard Knocks, by finding out what happens in advance.
  16. Heaton only had a year left on his contract and don't think he wanted to sign a new one, so that tipped their hand a bit. Mings was brilliant last year and El Ghazi and Hause were pretty useful, so happy to get them back. Do wonder if Hause may end up being a better Left-Back than Targett. Time will tell with the others, glad we got more wingers in, as that was our weakest area last season. Slightly nervous that Wesley may struggle or get injured up front, leaving Kodjia and Davis to pick up the slack. Kodjia hasn't recovered his best form since injury las5 season and Davis is still going and whilst promising, doesn't look like he'll be a goal machine ever. Think Davis and Wesley will hold it up, to bring our attacking midfielders into the game. Quietly confident we can stay up anyway.
  17. Reading about harder Salary Cap rules from 2020. Gotta think the Cowboys will lose some of their better players. Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, Byron Jones all set to be free agents and Zeke Elliott wanting a new deal. Probably others that I've forgotten. Not sure if DaMarcus Lawrence will want more money?
  18. Totally missed that. Did think it was strange that Roofe was going to Anderlecht. Good player and it's not really a step up.
  19. Support Galway United as they play in claret and blue at the Eamonn Deacy stadium. They're not very good.
  20. How come Peacock-Farrell doesn't play now? Thought he was quite decent. Is it because he sounds too posh to be a footballer?
  21. Can you go to Karlsruhe and let me know what it's like? Doesn't look great in itself, although I gather Strasbourg is lovely and a short hop across the border.
  22. D'onta Foreman released by the Texans
  23. Bloody hell, not what you expect from a Fulham fan. Chelsea maybe.
