Only issue there is fanzone(s) showing the Germany game in Stuttgart. Assuming we don't get tickets, I'm of half a mind not to bother travelling there.

You’ll be much more likely to find somewhere to watch in Stuttgart where there’s going to be thousands of Scotland fans without tickets than anywhere else in Germany imo. Atac suggested there’s going to be a different fanzone to show the game as well.

  2. If you right click on the captcha and then open photo in new tab then it should show you it there. Worked for me but still not got to the timer thing after doing that

  3. Quite impressed that we’ll have at least sold the full lower for tomorrow come kick off. After last week I didn’t think we’d bring much more than 1k. Guess the chance it’s our last away game with any meaning this season might have swung a few extra

  4. The rangers songbook at ER has been noticeably worse post Covid possibly due to their fans not being at Celtic Park twice a season so seeing this as being the next best thing. Think that’s a really good statement from the club and imo we should be giving them the equivalent percentage of the ground after the split (if we make top 6) as we’ve been given at Ibrox at the end of the month. Think that would be something like 300 so stick them up in the top corner of the stand.

I'm confused as to why the sfa would relax the rules on dual ownership tbh. It would clearly impact the integrity of the league.

I don’t think they have to be fair. Foley is only taking a 24% stake and doesn’t have any plans for more (to be fair most likely because nobody would be willing to sell)

Free hit here. Expect nothing and hope that Monty will recognise that going 4-4-2 at Parkhead or Ibrox will be another tactical disasterclass straight out of Craig Brown's 1985 Bumper Book of Fitba Tactics and Strategies that see us getting overrun in midfield and generally inviting pressure on ourselves. But he won't and. we'll lose easily enough.

He recognised it when we last played Celtic and kept a clean sheet.

Was just looking at Hibs fixtures and unless I'm reading it wrong, you have 5 out of 6 before Christmas away, and then 5 out the 6 after Christmas at home.

How on earth is it so imbalanced?

We were supposed to have Rangers at home on the weekend of the league cup final which has been moved to the end of January and then we have moved our game away at St Johnstone from the 30th to the 16th of December. So should’ve been slightly better at 4/6

Trying to wrap my head around this again, can't remember if I saw this mentioned previously somewhere: if you got tickets from the ballot just there, does that somehow bump you from getting official association tickets?

Basically, I'm on 11 points so right on that threshold and I'm not sure whether to wait it out until the draw if I'm offered a second chance from my ballot application.

If you’ve already got tickets for games through the ballot and they end up being for a different game on the same day that Scotland are playing then you’ll not be able to buy through the ssc as you can only have tickets for one game each day.

My thinking as well. I only turned on at about 25 minutes so assume the guy was having a bad game prior. If that's not the case and he's been hooked because of that mistake the manager is a fanny. Kind of thing I used to do playing LMA Manager ffs.

He’d done things like that about 3/4 times already. Was just waiting on that coming.

An issue just as big as the defensive problem on that viewing for QP is that they’ve been absolutely toothless up top. Last season Simon Murray would’ve had at least a couple of goals in that first half.

Don’t fancy Adana either, some good players in their team and the potential to get stabbed.

Plzen possibly the best hope given we’d be seeded + a good place to go

Arouca, I’d be delighted with because it’d be less faff with booking.

Djurgardens or Luzern would be ridiculously expensive.

I’ve been to Bucharest and it’s probably my favourite place that I’ve ever been however it’s ages away from Cluj and it’d be difficult with the potential of Turkey there I would rather avoid that one.

Tie 3 or Tie 5 please, drawmaster.

I think Djurgardens or Luzern is probably our most likely chance of getting through. Plzen is an interesting one because they made it to the groups of the Champions League last year but ended up miles off the pace in the league so no idea what they’d be like. This season is only Arouca’s third back in the top flight and the last few years the Portuguese teams outside of the big 4 haven’t done very well in Europe

Even hinting at signing Goodwillie to get some attention is in incredibly poor taste. But if they actually sign him, then f**k me, it’d be an outrageous combination of having no morals and being absolute morons.

When the non league English team signed him they tried to get away with it by having him just appear in the lineup for a game from nowhere. Surely if EK were mental enough to sign him they’d realise that teasing the signing like this would lead to maximum backlash. As it is it wouldn’t surprise me if they get a few disgruntled sponsors on the phone off the back of the tweet.

    Think they did.

Albion Rovers being relegated is quite a big story I think. Turned off just after half time so obviously won't hear if they do, but would be very surprised if they even so much as mentioned it.

They’ve ran through the English scores but still not mentioned the Rovers v Spartans game at all. Surely someone on the panel knows the game has happened

Intrigued to see how O’Connor & Aiken get on with you guys next year.

Watched them both a fair bit this season in the UEFA Youth League.

Murray Aiken played in the middle of the park/as a number 10 when I saw him and particularly against Molde he played absolutely out his skin and was the best player on the pitch, at the risk of sounding “yer da” he probably does need to bulk up but he’s a good dribbler and quite nimble on the ball, the way he moves on the ball almost reminds me of Dylan McGeouch. Hull offered us a few hundred grand for him in January and it was assumed he was signing a pre-contract there but we’ve obviously convinced him to stick around.

O’Connor is intriguing given his connections with his dad but he’s absolutely nothing like him in terms of style, he’s small, slight but very quick and a good ball carrier, has featured a couple of times in the first team too and did well to win a penalty against Aberdeen.

Will be keeping an eye out.

Aiken seems to be rated probably only second to Laidlaw in that squad by Kean etc and was supposedly close to signing for Hull in January.

O’Connor has looked good when I’ve seen him and is absolutely rapid so he’ll cause defences problems at Championship level if Airdrie make it there. Had Liam Scales all over the place when we beat Aberdeen 6-0.

The money from ticket sales are split four ways so all parties have to agree the prices, I think.  I could be wrong though.

That’s correct. It’s actually an increase on last season’s semi prices when the other game was us against Hearts. Both clubs have seen the old firm sellout as a way of making a bit of extra cash at the expense of your own fans.

All of this was entirely predictable though, the kick off time for the BBC game has been the exact same every year for over 10 years now so this game was always going to be at 12:15 on the Saturday.

Given the prices they’ve agreed to, the Falkirk and Caley Thistle boards should have been lobbying for the game to be played elsewhere to at least make it a better day out for the fans that go along. Even with it being at Hampden they shouldn’t be selling any North Stand tickets to keep the fans closer together. There’s going to be 3 pockets of fans in each end with massive gaps between them all which will make any decent atmosphere impossible

They've put more tickets for the Spain game on general sale. A3-A5 in the West Stand so looks like Spain returned more away tickets.

The remaining sections of the West are available for Cyprus as well. Looks like they are bringing a small enough number to fit them in the Main Stand somewhere
