  1. The 2-0 v Motherwell at the Tony Mac at the time was our worst performance since we were promoted and i thought it would be a while before we got to that level again. Then shortly after we done even worse v st mirren in Holts last game.

Today was arguably worse than both of those.

Absolute shambles from keeper to striker. We cant pass, shoot, tackle or make a clearance. Nobody making good attacking runs, no pressing, no confidence. Just dodgy as f**k defending and amatuer league levels of hoofball.

Depressing stuff recently. A big shake up needed for the accies game, a bit of effort wouldnt be too much to ask either?

  2. Trying to think of a single player who has not had a total shocker for livi today. Serrano maybe? Possibly Guthrie? The rest could all easily be dropped for the next game and not have any complaints.

Dundee United have been gifted 3 shots and scored 3 goals. Cant really think of them having any other chances. They have defended brilliantly though and deserve a clean sheet here

  3. Livi win on my Saturday coupon. The yella juggernaut trundles on....
    What about the wednesday coupon?

Could forgive the team if we dont win this one, given the results last month or so, especially the cup semi, but absolutely no reason we shouldn't be winning this.

Need to keep beating the top half of the bottom six teams to keep ourselves with breathing room in the top 6 which is surely the aim for the season now
  4. I dont think people understand that this is the first postponement we have had since the 4G was put in place. In 2 and a half years, this is our first postponement. I am very confident that there would have been at least 2 or 3 games called off before now this season alone, had we kept a grass pitch.

If we had kept a grass pitch, we would undoubtedly have had at least 2 or 3 games per season called off that our 4G pitch has allowed to go ahead. 1 game called off in 2.5 seasons is a great return, especially for where our stadium is located.

We had about 5 inches of snow and lows of -8C overnight. It was fucking baltic. Pitch was frozen. End of.

  5. We just keep making too mamy individual mistskes. Lawson and Brown have both had air kicks for clearences, Brown has dithered on the ball and been left on his arse, Holt shits himself whenever he gets within 25 yards of goal and messed up our best chance so far, Devlin cant get a decent cross in and Bartley just cant do anything prodcutive at all.

A very frustrating watch in keeping with the theme of the season so far

  6. Well that was pretty pathetic to be honest.

If gary holt comes out with 'learn from this' or 'boys need to put their head in where it hurts' again then he can get to f**k. Been the same all season. If the players arent doing it, get them dropped. Bartley and guthrie in particular have been a shadow of themselves from last season. And robbie crawford is twice the player jason holt is from what i have seen, yet one gets loaned out to warm the bench at motherwell and the other gets repeatedly picked to start.

Too many players not getting stuck in like we usually see from this team and it simply isnt good enough

Home form has kept us up the last couple seasons but this is pretty worrying form. Huge game on friday now.

  7. We seem to persist with Bartley and Holt as a holding two when recently they have both been rubbish. Guthrie too has been poor recently and o'd have expected him to be dropped before ambrose.

We keep giving away needless fouls to put ourselves under pressure and we cant ever seem to make the most of any free kicks and corners we get (not just this game with the wind)

Big kick up the arse needed now.

Holt off, sibbald to drop back and forrest on the left. Give jet 10 mins to get in the game or get poplatnik/tiffoney on.

  8. I could not disagree with these more. Holt was our best player IMO. Their 2nd goal was Fitz getting pulled out of position rather than Bartley being slow.

You'd be forgiven for thinking Holt wasn't playing. All he done was take passes from one centre back and pass it to the other then run away.

Devlin was rubbish and just fouled everyone.

Bartley was off the pace again.

Forrest never came out second half. McMillan wasn't as effective as he usually is.

McCrorie needs to do some serious work on his kicking with the amount that went straight out.

Serrano never instilled any confidence, not to mention his tackle that was definitely worth a booking but was expecting McLean to give a red.

Only 2 players I would really give pass marks to are Sibbald and Guthrie. Sibbald was excellent first half until he got booked, although he was caught sleeping for the pen, and Guthrie was solid enough at the back.

Aberdeen were there for the taking again and as usual we cannt take advantage whilst playing away against a poor team. Hopefully an improved performance next week, should be winning at home to County.

ETA that the above is not a suggestion of lack of effort, far from it. At times we played well but just too many not at it for much of the game. The same can be said for Abderdeen though and this is just a typical chance missed for points away from home.

  9. I remember big Toddy starting as a striker, scoring a goal and finishing as a CB, think it was Morton away, some boy.[emoji23]
I actually think this was the 3-1 away to Inverness in our promotion season. He started up front and scored our first goal, dropped back to midfield then back to centre back to finish the game. Played 3 different positions and done great in them all. I still love Toddy
  10. All about opinions and choices

I refuse to go and watch football senior or junior on artificial pitches as a matter of principle

Nothing to do with players getting injured as this can happen on any surface ………

Just never seem to see a good game on the surfaces

What a thick piece of shit. Imagine saying youve never seen a good game on an artificial pitch whilst simultaneously saying you dont watch games on artificial pitches. Fucking idiot

  11. I'd bump Lamie up to must keep, but other than that then this is spot on. It's a shame how Tiffoney has worked out, there's clearly a player in there and I reckon he'll be a Premiership player in a few years time, but he just doesn't fit with what we do.

McMillan > Lamie. No contest.* Lithgow / Guthrie at CB with McMillan at LB. Lamie as cover.

Tiffoney has looked OK when I have seen him, when he decides to stay on his feet. Needs a loan spell I think and show his potential which he undoubtedly has

     * at LB. Not seen McMillan at CB too much yet to comparw. Glad we have Brown back as another CB option though.
