  1. So when do teams start recruiting for next year?
is it a case of players just go to whoever has the money? Largs in the past have usually took players from Greenock and Port Glasgow as none of them boys at the two clubs get paid at all. Surprising as both teams have some great players.

Who from Port & Greenock do you think would get in the starting team at Largs?
  2. Still a long way to go and this league is so unpredictable with results. Everyone can take points off each other. Agree with that I think Shettleston will be crowned champions unless a major bad spell which I don’t see happening.

  3. Another 3 points on the board for The Undertakers. Decent game on Friday and deserved 3 points. Watched today a defeat for our rivals Greenock looks like they have blown any chance of a title challenge this year after a decent start.

    Port Glasgow 2 Lesmahagow 0
Port Glasgow go top of the league.

Been quite a while since I have seen us top of a league. I know others have plenty of games in hand but I will enjoy it while it lasts. Hopefully keep up this good run.

  5. Port Glasgow v The Gow is now being played on Friday the 29th of November at 7.30pm.

What’s your thoughts on these Friday night games?

I’m not that in favour of these games being played on a Friday night as I like my football on a Saturday and can’t see the benefit of switching.

Ardrossan have one of the best if not the best set up in this league but there floodlights are not suitable for night games. Our last game a couple of weeks ago on the Friday night was ridiculous and should not have been played.

I like the odd Friday night game under the floodlights. It brings a better crowd down our way and a much better atmosphere.
  6. Agree not a fan of the plastic pitches and our one isn’t the greatest to be fair. The surface is poor. Grass park over plastic totally agree. Yes our park is some size wouldn’t have liked to play and train on that back in my days. I feel you seem to see a lot more players getting bad injuries on the surfaces when its hot and gets sticky.

  7. Back to back victories now for the Port. Played well and felt we controlled most of the game. With the league so tight hoping to climb that table now.
All the best to Lanark for the remainder of the season [emoji835]️[emoji836]️

  8. Great entertainment on Friday night down at Ravenscraig Stadium, unfortunately Port on wrong end of the result. Good game and after bringing it back to 4-3 from being 4-1 down really thought we would get the draw. Onto next week hopefully get the 3 points and try push up the table as we are slowly creeping down to the wrong end.

Also great to see so many out at the game on Friday night . Really great crowd treated to a great game.

  9. Another great 3 points for winton, starting to get going now.

We never turned up and paid the price. Again inconsistency with us! We can never seem to get a run of results going our way!

All the best for the remainder good team there at Winton
  10. Be interesting when the odds come out.

Can see this being a very competitive league this year. AWR are a good side, Greenock have improved and we want promotion this year - all 3 ran close last year.

Id suggest probably most competitive league.

Hopefully find consistency this year and make a good go if it. Going by Greenocks signings I can see them up there challenging. Looking forward to the trip through to the Gow.
