It is positions like this that I love the split for, yes even when my team is involved, each team has games with teams around about them and potentially winnable ( or if levein drawable) games each week.

The Bolton one is particularly annoying as the red was given, the VAR told the referee to go to the monitor and review as it was probably not a red and the referee stuck with the decision.
We then spent money appealing the decision and getting the red overturned....and it was fucking upheld!
So not only is the decision incorrect, the advice was to overturn and that was ignored, then there was an appeal to overturn and that too was ignored and now a couple of months later, it comes out that they got it wrong. How the f**k does that fly?!
If I recall correctly Bolton was already on a yellow when he made the tackle so was always going off, however leaving it as a red allowed the appeal option and let us waste money. Not sure if his suspension ended up being longer due to it being a red rather than a double yellow.

Can we have Carson back in goals for this one please?

I know it’s raw after a defeat, especially against THEM! But this is way over the top
I am struggling to see what Scott offers……. Maybe he just needs a full pre-season……

Pair of Doc Boots from late 80’s that I still wear but bought a new pair last year, they aren’t as comfy so prefer the old pair.
Also a Ted Baker denim jacket from about 1990 but it is begining to feel a bit tight across the shoulders now.0 -
It would be quite funny if Dundee made top six and Rangers ended up getting sent there again, very unlikely I know but the heads gone and statements would be fantastic.

I think this was the last time I got excited about a PCA

It’s at the point where we should just have a minutes applause/silence before every single home match in remembrance of all the ex players, ex club officials and fans that have died since the last home match. Because, of course, there will be people with historic or current connections to the all of the top clubs dying every single week.
Not to mention the minutes silence/ applause we sometimes have for deaths of other teams players/officials and select political figures/wars from around the world.
The one I remember as bizarre was us having a minutes silence for Fernando Ricksen at St Mirren Park. I had nothing against him, and his young death was tragic, but he had absolutely no connections to our football club. The Ricksen one was utterly bizarre, died too young from a horrible disease but not connection to our club, I could perhaps have understood it had we been playing Rangers that week but we weren’t.
In short, ex player, manager, club worthy, or significant national figure minutes applause or silence before the game, a fan then the end of year roll of honour is the place1 -

St Mirren have done an end of season remembrance for fans that have passed in the previous 12 months with their names being read out and displayed in the big screen, that should be the best time for this kind of thing.

Don't know if we ever wanted Spittal but Hearts are fairly cherry picking players from rivals. Watch Baccus or Strain end up in Edinburgh
At least he has gone to a team that is always likely to be above us just now and weakened a team that we are more likely to be competing against.

The Aberdeen players all worked hard for 90 mins, and then Devlins lazy run combined with Olusanya’s pace and determination turned the game.
Devlin is on the side of the 6 yard box and Olusanya was behind the penalty spot when the ball broke.
First time coming from behind to win a game this season if not longer?
Must also be the longest a team has been in the lead and end up not winning a game.

I was slightly surprised yesterday, it did look like the players were up for it, loads of petty fouls to break up the game and certainly looked far better than St J that we played the previous week.
But then for the winner none of the players took the obvious chances to break up the play with a foul as we streamed forward.
First 90 minutes he had them playing ok. Last 3 or 4 back to the old Aberdeen.
I suspect he will chuck it before he can do a full Butcher.0 -

Would cancel that 2 year deal
Forgot we’ve actually gone and signed him after his loan ends, has shown nothing so far. In fact his debut was a close to him looking like he might be a footballer as we’ve seen.

I suspect var was just looking at the shirt pull which wasn’t a pen, decided that and didn’t go looking for anything else.

Saints haven’t had a game where both teams have scored since early November, so first goal is the winner.
County can’t be as bad as St J we’re on Saturday so will need to ensure another good performance if we want to get the points.0 -
I haven’t seen the goal back yet but looked very soft at the time, if it had been given I suspect we would have gone on to score a couple more as St J were as poor as I have ever seen them and seemed to have no stomach for the fight.
After we scored the atmosphere was great but once it was disallowed it went flat.0 -
First goal the winner, we’ve not had a game where both teams scored since the start of November.

Hi all, just after a bit of advice, if you can help. I collect rare 80s and 90s shirts and have the chance to get this St Mirren stunner from 96-97.
It's a size large, seems to be in superb condition and I was just wondering what the rarity and value of it would be as I don't want to be paying over the odds. Cheers
Can’t give advice on price or how rare it is but I have the away version which is black with the white stripe and I think it looks great.

Darryl Duffy was class in India.
Darryl Duffy was not class for St Mirren.
Bet you forgot Darryl Duffy played for St Mirren.
I saw Darryl Duffy play and score for Largs earlier this season against Pollok.
He scored more goals in 10 mins in that game than he did his entire St Mirren ‘career’0 -

Midfield looks brutal but to be fair there aren’t many other options other than may be move Gogic.

The question is how far will Livi fall……. Falkirk levels or hang about the championship with the odd promotion push.

Did the Gallagher to United deal include a fee if they came up? If so let’s throw that money at Gogic, I suspect he may be away in any event but would be gutted if it was to another Scottish club.
