The Bolton one is particularly annoying as the red was given, the VAR told the referee to go to the monitor and review as it was probably not a red and the referee stuck with the decision.

We then spent money appealing the decision and getting the red overturned....and it was fucking upheld!

So not only is the decision incorrect, the advice was to overturn and that was ignored, then there was an appeal to overturn and that too was ignored and now a couple of months later, it comes out that they got it wrong. How the f**k does that fly?!

If I recall correctly Bolton was already on a yellow when he made the tackle so was always going off, however leaving it as a red allowed the appeal option and let us waste money. Not sure if his suspension ended up being longer due to it being a red rather than a double yellow.

It’s at the point where we should just have a minutes applause/silence before every single home match in remembrance of all the ex players, ex club officials and fans that have died since the last home match. Because, of course, there will be people with historic or current connections to the all of the top clubs dying every single week.

Not to mention the minutes silence/ applause we sometimes have for deaths of other teams players/officials and select political figures/wars from around the world.
The one I remember as bizarre was us having a minutes silence for Fernando Ricksen at St Mirren Park. I had nothing against him, and his young death was tragic, but he had absolutely no connections to our football club.

The Ricksen one was utterly bizarre, died too young from a horrible disease but not connection to our club, I could perhaps have understood it had we been playing Rangers that week but we weren’t.
In short, ex player, manager, club worthy, or significant national figure minutes applause or silence before the game, a fan then the end of year roll of honour is the place

  3. The Aberdeen players all worked hard for 90 mins, and then Devlins lazy run combined with Olusanya’s pace and determination turned the game.

Devlin is on the side of the 6 yard box and Olusanya was behind the penalty spot when the ball broke.

First time coming from behind to win a game this season if not longer?

Must also be the longest a team has been in the lead and end up not winning a game.

  4. I was slightly surprised yesterday, it did look like the players were up for it, loads of petty fouls to break up the game and certainly looked far better than St J that we played the previous week.
But then for the winner none of the players took the obvious chances to break up the play with a foul as we streamed forward.
First 90 minutes he had them playing ok. Last 3 or 4 back to the old Aberdeen.
I suspect he will chuck it before he can do a full Butcher.

Hi all, just after a bit of advice, if you can help. I collect rare 80s and 90s shirts and have the chance to get this St Mirren stunner from 96-97.

It's a size large, seems to be in superb condition and I was just wondering what the rarity and value of it would be as I don't want to be paying over the odds. Cheers

Can’t give advice on price or how rare it is but I have the away version which is black with the white stripe and I think it looks great.

Darryl Duffy was class in India.

Darryl Duffy was not class for St Mirren.

Bet you forgot Darryl Duffy played for St Mirren.

I saw Darryl Duffy play and score for Largs earlier this season against Pollok.
He scored more goals in 10 mins in that game than he did his entire St Mirren ‘career’
