  1. Currently this page is as exciting as the team some of us claim to support,  I don't post often but that's me finished with this page it's all doom and gloom , and I have enough of that going on watching the team .I think some of the posters on this page are pleased we are struggling so they can run with their agenda  .

  2. I was at the game yesterday and it won't last long in the memory  in Hutchinson defence the service he received yesterday was awful , how are you supposed to score goals when we don't create anything,  Gav deserves a medal for the goals he has scored this season as service to our strikers is awful .I honestly hate one upfront no surprise Hutchinson best moments came when we went two up top . On top of that looks like another injury at fullback yesterday .On the whole it was a dismal watch on the positive one defeat in six about the only positive from yesterday.

  3. I really wonder about some of my fellow Queens fans  .So called fans wanting their team beaten to get rid of manager , I just don't get it . Especially with our boards record of appointments. Ever since I joined this our so called experts  eg fans have wanted Mcintyre sacked ,then Fowler. then Naysmith when bar the last season under Naysmith we were championship team and holding our own .Then we wanted rid of Johnston and Gibson .Maybe we aren't as big as experts as we think. I don't think any of us are happy with this season so far but we are still in a OK position for play offs re assess at end of season.

  4. Well I have blanked out yesterday today is about celebrating one of the best players ever to wear the Queens shirt , is goalscoring was just part of it ,his skill was unbelievable his assist at Dundee Utd was out of this world for Dykes to score .He always gave 100 percent for us .It was a pleasure to watch Dobbie in a Queens shirt and when he resigned it was like all our Christmas had came and first time was good but how good was he second time àround .So forget all the doom and celebrate  Sir Stephen,  as we won't see his like again. This love will last forever

  5. What a great result yesterday,  against a good Dundee United team , ,Harry Stone  had one of them games but the whole team played there part. Guts and determination got us through thought Connolly was superb as well and what a lovely finish for his goal . How good was it to see two local boys stepping up and taking penalties well done .Thoughts with all involved yesterday puts football into perspective.

  6. Thought today was a game of two halves, Ayr had the better of the first, it actually a really well worked goal from Queens that gave us the lead Dobbie the provider his vision was superb today. When Ayr equalised it was definitely coming. At half time I was delighted with a draw. Second half we came out with Mccarthy on and he certainly played well its nice to see a midfielder who is happy with the ball at his feet and this lead to a positional change for Murray playing behind front two and this lead to a far better second half performance and two well worked goals  both supplied by Dobbie . In all a great win.

  7. Reading people's views of last night's game, we constantly cut open the Inverness defence and created chance after chance. I must have been at a different game their keeper had two saves all the second half and one of them was going by the post. Felt on a number of occasions we played into their hands with high balls into the box instead of mixing it up a wee bit. Bar Dobbie miss it was our only clear chance. We worked hard but desperately miss a clever midfielder, who can pick a pass to break down a defence. On the whole disappointed but have a feeling alot of teams will struggle against this strong Inverness team, and come away feeling the same.

Going to be travelling up for the Motherwell-Annan game next Saturday. Where's best nearby for a good pint of beer (I'm a real ale fan myself) that lets kids in too? Thanks in advance. Also, parking recommendations for an easy get away back to Sheffield for after the game would be great! 🙂

The Bluebell Inn is a good place for real ale  about ten minutes walk to ground.
