  1. There's also factors like Covid and the fact Cinch won't have the £££ the likes of Ladbrokes have either. If the options were also... Cinch or Cinch then it also doesn't put the SPFL in a position of strength when negotiating either.
  2. Will be 1-2ish as it'll be announced in parliament. They better not allow councils the final decision or St. Johnstone will not be allowed anything more then season ticket holders until 2025.
  3. They'll always jump to their defence as they seem to lap up this whole thing where their club just acts as obtuse as possible. #nosurrender etc etc etc.
  4. Our covid budget? Did we not get the same amount as you lot? I think St. Johnstone received more. There's been a bit of an ongoing thing about noising up some St. Mirren fans on here by pointing out they only went for the grant to spend it on players... Hence the comment as well about they're offering him more than we've ever offered a player as well.
  5. Also, were known to be solid defensively. If we can continue that again, frustrate them etc fans might get on their back. The pressure and expectation then builds on them even more so. We could then exploit a mistake that comes from that pressure. All if but maybe but not ruling us out either. As long as we don't allow them to have an easy chance etc.
  6. About right if the 1.6m a season being touted is true. The selling point of this deal while slightly less than the previous deal getting a sponsor to sign up to a 5 year deal as that gives stability
  7. I'm still trying to work out why we've given MOH a 2 year deal. That's the most bamboozling thing of the whole summer
  8. 10 day isolation but testing and potentially be able to leave after 4 days on arrival also evidence of full vaccination required. No vaccine, no chance. (Fans also still going to be banned by Uefa)
  9. All a bit pointless a whole one day before the restrictions are lifted.
  10. is this guy just making this up or is this something that has been decided?
  11. Not been mentioned amoung Saints fans. Especially after us already spending money in this window. Can't see us spending money for fees twice in one window!
  12. Can we actually register any new signings now ahead of Thursday? Was deadline Friday for registration or can you register up to the day before in qualifying rounds?
  13. I think so. Not a wing back like Aberdeen have played him though. Personally really liked him. Entertaining and in tight games can make things happen as he's not shy to take the man on. Imagine him especially in the second half yesterday, picking the ball in between their midfield and defence like MOH did yesterday and running at them and having a strike?
  14. Cause they're torn faced c***s who constantly try and pander to the knuckle dragging thickos that support them by constantly whipping up a storm over stuff thats pretty irrelevant. Can't wait for my Rangers supporting neighbour (who does at least go to games) to lecture me about Marxism, how Sturgeon is a "vile disgusting nazi" and now about Cinch and the SPFLs awful vile sponsorship yawn.
  15. Douglas Parks car business might have something to do with it as well. In the same week they accuse the SPFL of underselling they simultaneously make it even more difficult for the SPFL. Clubs selectively accepting which SPFL rules they follow...
  16. What happened/is happening with the rumoured second signing? Moving on from today as well. Team for Thursday thoughts? Clark Rooney Kerr Gordon Mccart Devine McCann Craig Spoony MOH Kane The main reason MOH is because we're away from home, unlikely to see as much of the ball. He's an out ball on behind or into channels to chase, win free kicks etc. A game much more suited to him than today's that's for sure.
  17. Of course I'm aware. Doesn't change the fact the stand behind the goal was about 70% empty. There was enough space for another thousand folk and still have about 10 metres between each County fan. There was also no imposed social distancing + the current rules allow groups of up to 15 to gather together anyway.
  18. Then why give Saints fans tickets if County fans were missing out? There was massive spaces in areas of the home end. Especially behind the goal. Be lucky if there was 1200 county fans there.
  19. With County sitting so deep why didn't we exploit the physical difference between Rooney and Cook? Thought we did alright. Without creating enough. O'Halloran minging in the first half. Better in the 2nd but continues to run the ball into dead ends and crowded spaces. Needs to be better. Hendry, not a great game but needs to want it more. Few small opportunities to bundle the ball home.
