Alexander would have shut up shop at 27 mins, giving zero fucks about the aesthetics of the remaining 63 and we would have headed back down the A90 with 3 points.

His style of football was eye bleeding and he had his many, many faults, but if he'd been in charge tonight and we'd accumulated that lead, we'd 100% have won. I would never want him back, but Kettlewell could have done with a little of his single minded approach to winning to see us over the line tonight.

That and a team of less shitebaggy players...

Alexander would have shut up shop after 5 mins!!!

In game management is naive yet again. Graham Alexander wouldn't have thrown that match.

Aberdeen changed formation and we never reacted. Other than shitting the bed defensively.

Kelly can forget his Scotland place, which is part of Kettlewells loyalty towards him. The guy has no confidence and it permeates throughout the defence..

And McLean and Tosh are a couple of slevering prize plums. Two arseholes.

Alexander would go in a lead and chuck 10 defenders on.

Kettlewell goes behind and chucks 10 attackers on.

Some kind of crossover manager might be fun.

Answering the point - you are correct, Alexander looked to protect that lead which in the SPL is crucial to shitfesting up the table, not pretty but that's why we finished in the top six.

A class display of bed shitting that's very on brand for this complete gang. The defence and goalkeeper look like they're utterly terrified every time they're asked to deal with a set piece because neither trusts the other. As soon as Aberdeen pulled one back you could see the panic set in.

I can't see anything about this squad & manager that makes me think going full scorched earth policy in the summer and starting over isn't the best plan.

We've scored eight in our last two league games. Tonight shows where our concentration should be. It's not an entire clearout.

We have lost 39 goals. Blaney and Casey should be replacing Mugabi and Butcher & should have done so tonight.

  4. I wouldn't say I have this definitive belief that we won't end up in soapy bubble.
I just couldn't take it any more.

A few guys said they were sorry I was going which was nice and commented on the post

    To which I responded.

    Cheers pal,

I like a balanced viewpoint where I think P and B will suit me

There are certainly things wrong with the club. No escaping that.

But to deal with people who can only see black is like speaking to a Tory about the qualities of say SNP or labour or vice versa. Completely deaf.

Anyway that's enough about Steelmen Online. I am excited about my new future and to enjoy my girl eating an apple on a hammock.

Welcome. On the whole we're a slightly less deranged lot on this site, although you will still find plenty of atrocious patter. Putting me on ignore would probably help in that respect lol.

One thing I would say is I hope you left quietly and never told the utter moon units on there where you were going. If some of the main players on there start to follow you across the game will be a bogey.

    Hi! Thank you!

Well this is my last post on this site.
Off to P and B to chat to people with similar thoughts.
Would the miserable ******** on this site do us a favour and not follow suit.
You can stay here and hate the world.
I know plenty of people in the world like the people above and never stood about long enough to listen to their bile.
See you in the Spl next season.
I’ll spot you because your pants will be wringing and Kettlewell will have taken a ***** on your doorstep.
Catch the good guys later. Keep up the faith.

Eloquent and without drama I think you will agree.

    It's all ok folks!

I have signed the January transfer paperwork and have joined from SteelmenOnline.  I couldn't take it any more.

It's gone downhill rapidly in the last few months as I think a few people have commented on.

Looking forward to the chats ahead.

Never mind that, are you a striker and what's your goalscoring record like?

Played up front and then got progressively further back before retiring two years ago forever at the age of 41.
I'm still pacier than Conor Wilkinson though.

  7. Knowing everyone involved barring Slattery let me cast some light.

Slattery came into an area where he didn't know anyone accompanied by another Motherwell player.

He made a total twat of himself but was removed without any real harm barring his pride.

His anger them came out to the cops hence the charges.

Talking to everyone that night he was a pest but no worse than that and no worse than 100 other guys in the Merchant City that weekend.

Guesswork on everyones behalf thought he was a two can dan that wasn't used to drinking.

That's what happened make of it as you will.

I gave some enlightment on SteelmenOnline, when everyone bewildered said that Alexander and Slatts had fallen out.

My thoughts, done & dealt with, he would be a mug to make the same mistake again.

Hard to know what to make of this game.

There never seems much between the two teams. Last 50 or so games has seen 20 W for the Well v 17 W for Killie with 8 draws.

We have won on the last two visits to Ruby Park iirc.

Big Tommy will be telling the Killie boys this is must win or must not lose as games dwindling, so I expect a blistering start from Killie. If we can soak up any early pressure and keep the same commitment as last few games then I would be hopeful of a point. Which all things considered would be a reasonable result. Keeps a 10 point margin with one game less to play and hopefully the two Saints will pick up points v County and the turd that won’t flush team...

A win and I would think we would be safe if not arithmetically then near as damn it.

Last 50 or so games 20W for the well v 17W for Killie with 8 draws and 5 times Killie shat it from playing us. That's the maths sorted.
