That Durmus finish!
He's just growing on me week after week. Every passing game he looks more and more likely to be able to pull a wee bit of magic out the hat.
have to agree, and it wasn't just his attacking yesterday, when Waters got booked early doors Durmus was back helping him more often than not and making the 1st tackle to protect Waters, great performance from him and rounded off with a goal . Felt it go in in slow motion , took an eternity to drop and for him to hit it.
It feels now that we can score every match and he is a big part of that
Biggest concern for me was the quality of our set piece delivery last night, so poor, we must have failed to beat the 1st man nearly double digits, wheras Motherwell were sending in quality ball after quality ball into the box.

I'd wish him nothing but the best. Possibly the best goalkeeper I've ever seen at Saints, including Thompson and Money.
One of those player who looks to good for your team as soon as he signs and you hope you can hang on to him as long as possible before another team notices.
great shot stopper, great ball handling, comfortable with the ball off of either foot. Has all the attributes to play at the top in England.

Saints pretty downbeat on here. The team looks like a comfortable middle of the bottom six side to me at worst.
The worry for me is I don't see who the teams are that are going to be below us.. There are no obvious whipping boys this season.
I expect St Johnstone, Hibs and Hearts to get their act together at some point.
Hamilton and Livi appear to be grinding out points and Ross County are doing ok ...
Only team that leaves at the bottom is us. So being better than last season may not be enough without a bunch of duffers like Dundee last season to sit above

Really don't understand why women are so against reducing the size of the pitch and net. Obviously they want to act like they can do whatever the men do but it really would raise the level of entertainment in the women's game.
no doubt as the game develops short arse keepers will be a thing of the past. Any girls heading for 6ft plus with a bit of hand to eye coordination will be developed.
(speaking as a short arsed guy who had to give up on goalkeeping when I didn't grow)

A new striker would be good but I don't remember a match this season where we created 10-15 chances and our strikers failed to take them.
We've provided little to no service to our current strikers and despite that Jackson has scored 3 times in the last 5 games. There can't be many strikers out there who score 3 in 5 for a club at the bottom of the league and are candidates to get dropped.
If Lyons, Mcallister and Dreyer can provide the service our current strikers can still do a job
All that being said I think we need another striker to give us options.

If OK hadn't brought in Hammill till xmas we'd be detached by now already. He deserves a bit of credit for Hammill, Jackson and Ferdinand keeping us in touch.
Hopefully Accies and Dundee don't get away from us next weekend and then its a race to the bottom

Yes. Very much so.
just watched the highlights, the 3rd goal if he'd spent less time standing still with his hand in the air appealing for offside he'd have caught Mallen instead of being 2 paces behind him

Our new sports science man did such a wonderful job saving Patrick Thistle from the drop.
Thats a bit harsh.. The groundsman did a crap job of keeping them up as well and the guy on the turnstiles was hopeless.
Paul McGinn and Ryan Edwards however were blameless.

He gets criticised a lot by other clubs, but he's largely done well for us for whatever reason! It's a strange time to go but maybe didn't fancy a relegation to end his career. Does this mean Lyness isn't going out on loan to Airdrie?
Perhaps he wanted to quit on a high and going by the season so far 1-1 against Dundee might have been as close to a high as we are going to get.
It's a great opportunity for him , if he can hold down a position in Jack Ross's coaching team he could have a long and prosperous career coaching wherever Jack Ross ends up.
Good luck to him

have to agree with Hearts on this.
"We have stated from the outset that we don't believe it is right that any club should be unfairly penalised because of the Covid-19 pandemic."
However Hearts were shite so were fairly penalised for it, down you go....
