In the Record today, that expert on Scottish football, Dennis Wise, thinks that Rangers are going to beat Celtic.
Dennis wise is not an anagram of talentless b*****d.

Before this afternoon's programme starts, it's worth remembering that neither Rangers or Celtic are playing until tomorrow.
Let's all see how this pans out shall we?...
Without use of my crystal ball I pretty sure I know the answer. After all there’s European performance to scrutinise. Feck the teams who are actually playing today. Disgraceful but not at all surprising.

Not at all surprised sadly.

The past few years we've suffered, crowds have dwindled through the years, always fighting relegation has only brought along more fears, but now we have our leader, his name is stevie Clarke, you'll never take the killie, the boys from rugby park.
What’s the tune?

You might give a f**k if we take your manager.
Steve Clarke is not going to be the next Scotland boss. Poisoned chalice and all that. Let’s be honest, we’ll likely get fed up with him if there’s not a title challenge next year :-))

Sorry to go against the grain of the thread, but think Liam McLeod is one of the better journalists in Scotland.
That’s really not saying much though is it?

Football focus showed the Scottish premiership table at lunch time. Only problem was they missed out Ross county and partick thistle. Not at all surprised mind you.

Good grief. Comparing a 47 year old Scottish Cup semi Final between Aberdeen and Kilmarnock at Muirton to modern day St Johnstone at McDiarmid? Really? That's undoubtedly the worst attempted slagging of our attendances I've seen on here and that takes some doing. Literally the only connection between the two is they are both in Perth. Jeez.
Here fishy fishy

Tomorrow marks the closure of Meadowbank, aka the Commonwealth Stadium, in Edinburgh after almost 50 years. Never a loved football venue but I'm actually really sad to see it go - there was something deeply impressive about that scale of concrete-and-steel in all its monumentalism. Supposedly the grandstand was the largest single-tiered in Scotland outside Hampden, also.
Loved meadowbank stadium. Remember watching Killie there when the main stand was shut for a cat show and we were round on the open terrace. Also great memories of the scoreboard showing the score when we humped them 8-1.
Sorry to see it go.
