Should deduct Stranraer 10 points after their brain dead f**k wit supporters attacked the away fans. Clyde would still go down but at least it might make it slightly interesting.

I'm like you, encouraged and more optimistic. McCall has done well with the new recruits and getting rid of the majority of shite. It's down to the players now to show their worth and fight.
I'm hopeful we can turn things around but need to start today. I get that teams need time to gel and get to know each others game but we don't have that luxury. 3 points is a must and a barage of goals to build confidence would be fantastic. Am I optimistic or in dreamland ?!
Wish i were more hopeful of making ot to the game today though.... Just came off a mammoth nightshift so heading to bed with the alarm set for 11am.

What I find hard to except is at 16:40 yesterday afternoon I'm looking at the league table thinking if all games finished with the scores the way they were we'd be 6 behind Stranraer. At 16:45 we find ourselves 8 behind facing the near impossible.
Next week is a massive game. If Tuesday night away at Elgin wasn't a must win then next Saturday 100% is. If we can't beat them then it's curtains. I'd even like to say if we could go there and ideally put 3 or 4 past them it would help confidence immensely.
Having played football over the years, one of the most frustrating and hard things to except is conceding equalisers or winners with literally the last kick of the ball. Heads will be down after yesterday if they weren't already down after Tuesday. The players will be hurting knowing whatever they do they're getting beat by 1 goal. If you get hammered 5-0, aye its a beating but you move on. Going into over game and getting beat by 1 goal or needing 1 goal to win is a harder pill to swallow and that's more or less been the way since McCall has came in.

Ironically Danny Lennon's first game in charge was against East Fife where Clyde were beat 2-0. Look where the team was then and how he turned the club around. Hoping McCall can do the same. As ugly as it will be to watch, the best we can hope for is to make us hard to beat until the window opens. Somehow get rid of the dross on the pitch now and get new bodies on. Maybe offer players to Queen of the South, they done us a turn taking Reilly off the books! I'm sure Lyons, Forbes would thrive for them!

If Clyde were to sign half the Man City squad, you lot would still moan... Here's an idea... how about getting behind your team and supporting them and the signings rather than sitting behind a phone/keyboard spouting pish and negatively.

Managed to wade my through most of the shite that's been posted up on here recently over the DGW scenario.
We all seen what unfolded at Raith after they signed him. The backlash, the media as per jumping on this. The womans team walking out etc. The council getting their say in lead by the Val McDiarmid, calling her pal Nicola to back her up. Two arseholes with an agenda towards Goodwillie.
So how the so called fans of Clyde and even the club itself thought for one minute after seeing what happened at Raith, they could then sign him on loan? Giving in to the supporters who chanted his name. Did they think the storm would pass? Whoever made that call should resign. I'm not condoning what DGW has done and I'm a strong believer in 2nd chances but he has had his chance. If he stayed with Clyde then none of this would be going on. As it stands now he'll be lucky to get a game with a 5 a side pub team.
The NLC have over reacted imo, no willing to renew our lease come end if term. The council have treated Clyde like shit since day one. If they were to find a new home elsewhere it may not be a bad thing. Tell the council to ram it and try move closer to Rutherglen/ East Kilbride as Cumbernauld is doing them no favours. EK is growing all the time.

With Danny Lennon's contract expiring at the end of this current season. Do you guys think he merits another deal? Has he done enough to extend his stay or is it time for a new face?
Personally I think he has the ambition to take us further but his hands are tied behind his back with the board and lack of money to bring in the right players to take us to the next level. This season has shown that. I do think he will move on at the end of this season.
If he does decide to go who would you want to come in?

As a Clyde supporter I was getting excited reading this until I read 'another signing'... thought nope not us, as we've not made any, then when I read 'it's meant to be a decent one', then I knew it defo ain't us. We don't do decent signings, just shit at best.

Clyde has stated that its hard to get players signed up on loan this window due to covid and clubs not wanting to loan players out and keep a bigger squad. If it were that difficult why have other clubs strengthened their squads. There's Falkirk who signed a lad on loan from Livvy, comes off the bench on Saturday and scores 2 goals. There are gems out there and players available yet we are punching above our weight right now somehow picking up points along the way with no solid links to anyone.

So frustrating to be drawing with Clyde cause they’re absolutely garbage. We’re as good as anyone in the league until the final third where it matters. Build up is fine but we’re so bad at converting chances. Clyde are hopeless though and it makes it all the more frustrating.

Well done Doyle for his header to get the goal. Spoke well in the post match too. He’s right, the amount of balls flashing across the goal but there’s no one clever or brave enough to convert. I’m happy he wears the arm band.

Wouldn't take Bryson back, Still has the ability to do a job at this level but ain't kicked a ball with Aberdeen due to injury. No use having him sat in the stand week in week out.

There was an Elgin fan here saying how everyone associated with Elgin FC hate Stranraer and would gladly see them slip into the Lowland League. Stranraer is the further away ground for the club & supporters etc and how they will make sure they help Clyde finish stay in the league at Stranraer expense....
Clyde are one of the most if not thee most hated clubs from the championship down so I'm certain that Elgin will be out for 3 points. If we are to stay up then we need a Stenny like performance. No passengers & no excuses.
